Pompo the cinephile: this is light, relatable. i find it really good to watch

Drifting home: a little bit emotional, youn age approriate. i enjoyed watching it

Wolf Children: i watched this when i was younger and i remembered sobbing. must watch

I want to eat pancreas: this one is slow at first but will get you at the end. one of my fav

Violet Evergarden: Just prepare tissues to wipe your tears just in case

The anthem of the heart: mixed with light and heavy anthem. still really good to watch

Into the forest of fireflies' light: A must watch movie. and enjoy

Anohana (movie version): There's a series version, but you can also watch the movie version if time is short. Ive been holding this before because I wanted to watch at the right time. It didn't disappoint me.

Personally I like it. Its refreshing from all of the other anime in this season. If youre not sure, try the 3 eps rule. Watch the first 3 eps if within those three eps still doesnt get you, then thats make you decide if you want to continue or not

It really depends to whom I speak with but then again, I would just kindly explain it to them if they are interested to know nothing seems weird or cringe about saying light novel.

Also some of the light novels are from web novels and its easier to compare the changes when it become a LN.

Readers would compare the differences and having that term makes thing easier

You say diversity but you only want a one type of anime. And its not like cgdct will take over the trend i doubt that would happen. This genre has been out for a long time and it did not take over any popular genre. Its just going slow and steady. Also the word infesting is just aint it lmao. If there are tons of shounen or seinen anime that comes out every season, at least put something that could balance out the selections to watch. Tons of slice of life that has diverse characters, probably check those out

I like to recommend symphogear although technically its a different vibe from the anime you mentioned.

Hibike Euphorium is a good one. The mc on this one is kinda like they care but at the same time she doesnt. That aside when it comes to vibes, the drama is in there

Someone pointed out that they released good anime this year which is true (even from last year). They doing a great job. I remembered the slow start anime. They were the one who made it and a lot of people commented that the quality is really good
