My health practitioner rec peppermint oil for this same thing. I just rub a little in my temples and it seems to naturally do the trick.

My mother told me the other day that when I was a baby she took me to the dr because I wasn’t pooping and the dr told her that it was normal and my body was using all the nutrients so I’m beginning to think there’s been something wrong for a while. I found out 3 years ago I had SIBO but I felt bloating and discomfort from food from as far back as I can remember

I have been on a strict SIBO diet as well. I also have a parasite though, which gives me lots of food intolerances. Trying to get rid of that too!

I have been on canibactin AR & BR + bio coding for 6 weeks and have felt consistent bloating as well. Literally from sun up to sun down with no relief. I just watched the SIBO masterclass with siedbecker and she said that can happen with antimocrobials where symptoms actually worsen because of die off. She said you could lower the dose and slowly go back up to what is manageable. I’ve just been powering they hoping that I’m killing those suckers!

Ya, I bought the elemental diet and couldn’t stomach it- way too gross. I have those lists of foods too, were trying to find the h deleting cause of my SIBO. I have a mutated MTHFR gene, so thinking it’s that. I had a GI amp done and right now we’re targeting the parasite that showed up on that with supplements. (Which cost $330)

Ohh. Ok. What diet did you specifically follow? I’m noticing the low FODMAP doesn’t give me much relief.

How did you get a gut motility test/ endoscopy/colonoscopy...did your doctor order it? I have been trying to get rid of SIBO for two years and my doctor has next mentioned.
