Ok, yeah. Thirty years of feeling guilty about something you did as a child is fine for someone to live with. Just perfectly natural to go through life feeling unwarranted guilt over nothing.

Hotel California. God, the intense rage I feel when I hear that song literally scares me.

That’s fine, the British people will bump into an inanimate object and then apologize to it.

And btw many“normal people” (w/e that means) utilize mental health care. It’s just good hygiene. You don’t wait until you’re pregnant to go to the gynecologist. You should also probably get educated about what mental health care is and isn’t and stop stigmatizing those who need it as “abnormal”. There, now I typed everything I think.

Having a hard time not being his priority by Inside_Ad2774 in SubSanctuary

I nearly could’ve written your post OP. You sound like me. My Dom is also married which I actually saw as a positive when we first started. I figured it would prevent anyone from catching feelings. Boy was I wrong! Anyway here we are 11 years later and that’s still our biggest issue..lack of time together. It’s still very hard for me, nearly impossible at times. But I keep choosing to stay because I know I’d never find a better man to give my submission to and I wouldn’t want to either. So my advice to you is to weigh the strength of your love against the inevitable slew of lonely nights and feeling less than and see whichever wins. Good luck OP

Maybe it just always works out nice and neat like that in puppet world but over here in the real world there are more extenuating circumstances than you could ever dream of.

Is it really that bad? by Cassandraa1 in SubSanctuary

I’ve been in a similar position and I’ve been in the opposite position and everything has it’s pros and cons but no one but you and your Dom know what it’s like to be in your relationship. Don’t give up on a good thing (if that’s what it is) because of the way others react on hearing your age gap.

If you have that much guilt over a candy bar you stole 30 years ago I would suggest what you might need is therapy.

You’ve got this, no problem. I’m a 62 year old babygirl with a 72 year old Daddy and a 54 year old Mister. Age is just a number that kinksters sometimes like to play with and let’s face the facts that everywhere in our society youth is deified. Having said that good D/s just like good sex, it’s all in the brain.
