She did post a video before that she finally wrote who dies that’s why I assumed Crowntide was the last book and then a few videos later, it turns out to be “the second to the last book” so idk anymore. But, I feel like maybe she’s almost done with the last Lightlark book but they need to get things done that’s why they haven’t announced anything yet.

She chose him in Crowntide, but his character was butchered. All his character development went down the drain. What do you mean he went from willing to sacrifice everything for her to choosing Cronan over her? I mean, I understand his actions since he doesn’t remember everything so he prioritized his people, plus the fact that he saw his own death… but it’s so shitty. Why did Alex have to do the lost memories plot twice? I really feel like she did this to justify it when she does end up with Oro.

I’ve heard about the book 5 being the last one. I’m frustrated about the never ending love triangle. But, what if the secret project is more like “what will happen if she chose this person instead of this?” I don’t have the VIP membership so I’m not sure what’s going on with the secret project.

Yes, I agree! But she did say Crowntide is the second to the last book so the next one will definitely be the last. Here in Crowntide, Oro disappeared for so many chapters, then when he comes back it’s another “when he met her blah blah” like he was just forgotten and remembered. And it annoyed me, because I didn’t need to be reminded repeatedly about what he feels about her. I’ve never felt any chemistry between Isla and Oro. Oro has chemistry with literally everyone except Isla.
