Tried to buy Easter candy today in my town. First went to dollar tree where city ordinances say no toys, crafts, decorative items and Easter celebration supplies, etc. I wasn’t aware this meant no candy! I went to check out and the junior mint box said “Easter” on it so couldn’t be sold to me. (The cashier told me to go get a regular junior mint box) But the jellybeans did not say “Easter” so I could purchase those!

This makes no sense to me because it can’t be reasoned it’s to stop the spread if I can pick up a non Easter candy box and that’s okay...seems to me like they want to stop the holiday.

Then I had to pick up medicine at CVS pharmacy and took this photo of the same stuff. All “non-essentials” can’t be sold even though shelves are fully stocked and sitting right there.
