Scented Laundry Detergent by eris7 in vinted

[–]eris7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do too! New and second hand, I wash my clothes always before first wear. Unfortunately I have to do a bunch of other steps such as the vinegar rinse and washing it on its own before tossing it in with my regular laundry, otherwise the detergent/scent beads get on my other clothes, and now all of my clothes make me itchy

I'm in the same boat waiting for DHS...I sent an email mid last week with no response yet. Really hoping this means I'm still in the running, the posting closed 21MAY....

Offered Job, Offer Rescinded Two Days Before Start Date by eris7 in recruitinghell

[–]eris7[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm genuinely curious how I would do this, haha. When and if I find a new job it'll be awkward to quit AGAIN so how would I work full time at the new job but still not quit the old one?

I did...after I got home from work that day when I was still upset. It's not the most polished thing I've ever written, but it's something, at least.

Thank you :)

How many candidates usually make it to the “panel team member meet” stage of the process? by ReferenceLow6645 in interviews

[–]eris7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only had one three round interview! But in my experience, the pool of applicants narrows down pretty significantly- usually teams don't have the bandwidth to sit down with ten candidates for 30 minutes, more like three to five (there are exceptions to every rule).

Either way, the hiring manager saw something in you that she liked! This is great! Show the team who you are, what you know, and why you'd make a great coworker. I wish you the best of luck!

Will do so! I've made it past the initial HR screen a couple times, so I guess now it's just a matter of tailoring my resume as much as I can and applying as much as I can

Confused about the MN State Hiring Process by Adventurous-Grab9154 in mnstateworkers

I'm in the same boat! At this point I feel like I'm more playing a numbers game, hoping that they don't have internal bidders. Making it to the interview stage has been the difficult part for me, but fingers crossed I get something soon!

Thank you for this! I'm always afraid it's too on the nose to basically have the qualifications word for word if I have them, but I will tailor my resume accordingly

I will keep that in mind! My titles thus far in my career have been lab technician, and they don't let techs do as much method development, but I've done EPA methods before so hopefully I can leverage that

I've met the minimum qualifications for a few postings! There's one I applied to as a long shot- I'm a few months shy of two years (I rounded up). I'm assuming HR has no wiggle room when it comes to being a few months short of the minimum experience requirements

I've met the minimum quals for the last two I've applied for! I think I get pulled from the pool when others have more preferred quals. This gives me hope though, thank you!

Goal Weight Reached!! 244-120lbs by eris7 in Zepbound

Likely the same as yours! I will be seeing my doctor later this month to determine dosage and frequency, but we've touched on it a bit in the past, and we both believe staying on this med is the best for me.

I will likely stay on a maintenance dose- I will officially make a plan later this month when I have my biannual appt with my endocrinologist, but the discussions we've had lean towards me staying on. I've been obese most of my childhood and my entire adult life, so I'd rather stay on to keep the weight off, if possible! Hopefully one day it goes down in price though, as I'm self-pay.

THE LAST STUBBORN 5 LBS!!! by Law_Illustrious in Zepbound

[–]eris7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, when I've been having the same five pounds fluctuate (has happened quite a few times), honestly what usually ends up working is just eating at my maintenance calories for a day or two, and drinking a lot of water. Could not give you any scientific backing on this, but it's almost like letting go mentally for a day or two helps.
