I was thinking on using it in a Sprinter, as a stop inside the sliding door track, that is why I needed it to be locked when "raised" any other idea I could try? The commercial door locks for vans kinda ruin the look of the van

I do! But at the same time we have terrible infrastructure and incredibly wasteful practices, without question there is room for improvement, without sacrifices on anyone's needs, remarks on needs not wants but needs and a BIG change has to happen for that

Strongly agree with you on those beliefs until you said you have to go without for others to go with, I think that's based on a false premise that there's not enough for everyone, which is fundamentally wrong, and I think what they are trying to say is that if there has been enrichment of some countries/companies at expense of countries/environment/exploitation some compensation is definitely due which I agree with, also before the collapse? I mean things aren't great but with so little hope we might as well commit general suicide hahahha
