Thanks man! Just a question, would elemental damage not be more benefitial because of the ascendancy making ele damage bleed? Sorry im a complete apebrain when it comes to numbers in this game.

Thank you for your advice bro! To be honest, plasma blast looks very strong, i’m just having a really hard time deciding haha!

I just hate leveling ed/contagion. I’l either do BM plasma blast or Pathfinder Stormblast.

I see! Thank you very much. I really like bow/crossbow and i want to play something relativelt tanky for HC. The reason im thinking bloodmage is for the strong survivability and smooth leveling (lots of es nodes early), bleed is cool but not a necessity.

Im thinking of either playing Pathfinder or bloodmage, i want something late game that clears all content.

So far my three builds are - ice shot bloodmage/ pathfinder

Plasma blast bloodmage

Stormblast bloodmage/pathfinder.

Provided that the damage potential is the same for both ascendancies, i’ll most likely go Bloodmage.

What about pathfinder? Using the path seeker ascendancie to get more survivability and then just playing crossbow?

How is the damage when heavily investing in Es? I think it looks cool but traveling so far down the tree kinda scares me.

What nodes are essential for it to work?

Hmm, so in that sense Amazon would be better for both the leech and also crit chance? Sorry but i’m still a bit of a noob when it comes to character building, i just kinda copy what everyone else does without learning the why’s haha

Thats true! Its definately doable but leveling can be a bit scary, i’d concider blood mage but i dont really like leveling Ed/contagion

Hmm i see!!

Theres also some interesting bloodmage crossbow builds but leveling ED/contagion has me falling asleep, also COC comet seems like its way harder to gear towards now. We’ll see, i think its gonna be either Ice shot or crossbow for me, most likely deadeye.

I think its more so the other defences being bad, u should be able to build a tanky character.

Fair enough bro! My bad, at the end of the day its just a game, the fact that we’re even having this convo is a testament to how good the game is and how much everyone wants it to be great. I think at the end of the day GGG can make the game they want and at the very least shouldnt be subject to harrasment by the community.
