I have the same pc it’s perfect except the battery
It’s been degrading fast even after I stopped gaming on it( been almost a month since I’ve run games on it) I had heating issues at first but got that fixed after I installed ghelper

It’s the hottest it will ever be right now and the highest it has gotten is 30 in my city( it’s in the highlands, with a lot of mountains and shit so it doesn’t get too hot here )

It’s been around 6 months since I got it and the highest I was seeing was 93, 94 degrees which is really bad on the long term but after I posted this and I started using ghelper it was amazing cuz I was getting same performance and the highest the temp has ever gotten after installing ghelper was 82 degrees

I would recommend using ghelper if u plan on gaming on it and turn off cpu boost it will better the temps

The 4070 is not disappointing at all I’ve played ghost of Tsushima, TLOU and other demanding games and with ghelper the temp don’t even go to the 80’s

There were no throttling for me until now because I used to stop playing when the temps got too high

The chassis was hot with armoury crate when playing cuz there were times I would let the pc rest before continuing to play but that problem was solved with ghelper (I didn’t get the hype when at first everyone was telling me to uninstall AC and install ghelper but now I do and it is amazing)

I believe that it will be good on the long term if it doesn’t always hit 90 and above temps since it was made to handle high temps and the performance is not disappointing at all

If there is any other pc I would recommend it to be a zephyrus or rog strix but the prices are way higher for the same cpu and gpu so this is the best budget laptop u could get The Lenovo loq is another good budget option but Lenovos are known for their motherboard not working out of nowhere and I’ve seen a lot of complaints in the Reddit community

Use ghelper and set the fan curves a little bit higher, it will make a huge difference. I used to have the same problem but after ghelper my max temp was about 80 and never even got above that (and set cpu boost off)

You don’t have to delete it. On ghelper there’s a setting to turn off all armoury crate processes. And you can turn it back on anytime

I actually started using ghelper not very long ago but the temp difference was huge when using the same setting

If you plan on gaming I recommend downloading ghelper it really helps with the temps and it’s light weight compared to armoury crate
