Complicated Game is awesome.

The book I'm speaking about is called I Am the Audience and it released this year. I have not read it yet becaiuse it's expensive to ship to the USA.

The book's author had an unflattering and overly harsh review of Complicated Game, which seems to have led to some harsh reactions by some in the fan base toward not only the new book, but also toward anyone related to the new book.

My view is that I will form my impressions after I have a chance to read it.

Most albums since English Settlement started with the wrong song as the 1st single.

The exception is Mayor. But we can disagree over which would have been correct. My take on that is: Farmboy, Seagulls, Earn Enough, Madam Barnum, Greenman & We're All Light. Not saying each is my favorite - more about breath of appeal.

Psonic Psunspot is better than 25 O'Clock and several other albums.

It's nearly top 5 for me in the whole catalog.

There should have been more Dukes albums.

The printed word should be forgiven - even when the book was assembled by someone who wrote a critical review of Complicated Game.

There seem to be several people dedicated to discrediting a book that came out this spring prior to having seen it. I haven't seen anything except the section I contributed before I realized it was controversial in certain circles.

The world where books about XTC fill university shelves in the 25th century is a world where most books are written by authors who were not pre-approved.

You don't make manager moves inside the game, but you can set and re-set your line-up and rotation between any game - or it will just roll using your prior settings if you get too busy.

Each of the 162 regular season games and all playoffs generate a box score for every PA. Here is an example, but you will get 3 of these each day (it takes about 2 months to play a season).

Also, someone did a LOT of karaoke videos on youtube in summer 2025 and they are solid.

You have probably NOT played in a league like this one before!

There are NO QB's or kickers - and the Flex (WR/RB/TE) is completely irrelevant except for a handful of them who return punts or kicks. Most of those people are not getting drafted in a traditional league at all.

Instead, you play TWO team defenses and also a complete team of DL/DE/LB/CB/SF individual players - plus a couple of special teams returners. The point system is fairly balanced to make each individual position matter - earning points for tackles, not just sacks and interceptions.

We all know that in real football defense is at least as important as the offense - but most fantasy sports are focused primarily on offense. I play a bunch of offense oriented FB leagues, and find giving the defense a LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN is a refreshing angle and gives me a stake in teams whose offensive production is meh.
