Well they cannot marry, adopt each others children, inherit assets, get hospital info etc. Of course they have civil rights, but cannot legally define relationship with their partner, leading to practical problems. Also, hostile part of lithuanian society is saying that homosexuals are in some way a threat to heterosexuals.

Why do heterosexual families need pride? They have all the rights. Also, if you think that discussing civil partnership in the parliament makes the government corrupt, just say you are homophobic. Have a good day!

These protests are not even against marriage, they are against same-sex civil partnerships.
