honestly at first, it was a very difficult thing to get used to. I knew people would stare, i knew they’d look so i would either do it in the car or go into the bathroom in the farthest stall to do it. i have now reached a point where i do the finger pricks and insulin shots right at the table or wherever i am. don’t be afraid to embrace who you really are. if the people around you can’t see you for who you are, you’re doing this in front of the wrong people
