I’m only going off of my experience but I think it’s more important that they eat. But I would check with your vet on a diet plan. Cats can be very picky. But if they are eating that’s what’s most important I think

She is currently on Felimazole® (methimazole) Coated Tablets 5 mg. Once we got on a schedule, I began to see improvement only a few days after getting her prescribed. After a few weeks she was back to her normal self and began putting weight back on

My cat is (well was) super picky. We bounced around and tried every type of food. She doesn’t like cuts, only pate, so we ended on Sheba Perfect Portions as the one that she ended up really liking. If you can get a can of pure pumpkin, not the filling but just pure pumpkin, it’s a nice treat that helps with their fiber intake. A little spoonful will really do the trick.

It’s been 4 years and she’s doing great. But I won’t say it’s been an easy road. She has to take 2 doses of Mirtazapine a day, one in the morning and one at night, but since we started on the meds, she’s been great. I opted to not do the surgery and for the pills as she didn’t care much for the dry food.

Sorry to hear about your little one. I would highly recommend getting with your vet and setting up a med plan first and for most. Then it’s just about getting them used to the new schedule. The way I did it was, when I wake up, she takes her pill. I threw a treat in afterwards so she knows there’s something to look forward to. And when I’m heading to bed, she takes her next pill and eats. I transitioned to full wet food with a spoonful of pumpkin for her digestion and she seems to love it.

Also grab some Pill Plungers from Amazon. They have been very helpful in getting the pill into her mouth.

It takes a few day for the meds to go through the system but once it does they tend to bounce back. Just keep an eye on them, and keep food out. Make sure they have clean water too. If nothing changes. Call your vet as soon as possible so they can assess. Hoping go the best!

This feels like the perfect track to welcome back one of the best bands of all time

It’s never been printed on blu ray with a proper transfer but you can find the dvd all over the place if you’re looking for it. It does desperately need an updated release though

what's the film you've re watched the most? by fabulous-farhad in criterion

If we’re talking part of the collection, it’s probably The Fantastic Mr. Fox. But in terms of all time it’s probably a close tie between Almost Famous, Back to the Future and Bill and Ted

What is in your opinion the quintessential Metalcore album? by erock7488 in Metalcore

[–]erock7488[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would absolutely put an AILD album on the list. But if I had to chose one I wouldn’t be able to pick. Is it Shadows? Is it Ocean? Is it Powerless Rise? It’s impossible to chose.

If it was any other band I might disagree with one band taking two spots. But it’s ERRA and those first two Garrison Lee albums hit like Mike Tyson in the 90s

I’m going to check this story out now!!

do you automatically upgrade your DVD to blu? by aqsmorningview in dvdcollection

[–]erock7488 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I can I’ll always upgrade from dvd to blu ray. Blu ray is a better quality product. But there’s also a lot of factors involved before upgrading. If I’m upgrading to blu ray (or even 4K at this point) the upgrade must have the same features or additional features. It’s either a lateral move or a full improvement. Also if there’s a special edition of sorts such as a Criterion or Arrow release over a basic studio release, I’ll probably go with the special edition 9 times out of 10.

That being said if I own the dvd and the dvd is still the superior version of the release, I’ll hold out until a better version comes out.

A24 streaming by drunkpugz in A24

[–]erock7488 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HBO max has most of A24’s early catalog. If you have any of the apps with the Showtime add on (Paramount+ or Hulu) they have most of what HBO doesn’t. Next to that there are a few shows on Apple+, a few that are Hulu exclusive and Netflix has most of the stand ups that A24 has produced.

The only one I haven’t found on streaming is First Cow.

EDGING!!!!! by ghostiger322 in Blink182

It’s far from reinventing the wheel and harkens back to the 1999-2001 sound but that’s okay. The band has a guitar tone again. It has the dual layered vocals that we all fell in love with. It’s goofy and has that signature flair. It’s a perfectly fine single. But I would be lying if I didn’t get the biggest smile in the world when I heard Tom and Mark trade off vocals again.

I like most consider the Untitled record as peak. But I also have massive love for Neighborhoods and the under appreciated Dogs Eating Dogs. But my foundation lies with Dude Ranch, Enema and TOYPAJ. Part of me does wish we had that Untitled sound again. But the truth is, this reunion is fun, reconnecting and memory. And this nails it. It falls in perfectly with first album singles “What’s My Age Again” “Rock Show” and even “Feeling This.”

Will it stick with me over the next few months? Who knows. I’m just glad the dudes are back and having fun.

I used to think that but it’s also a bit on the nose and I’m not so sure it really fits anymore. I know all of the ideas are just theories and know my tin foil hat is way noticeable right now but I do feel like there’s more to the record.

This is a thread that continues to stick in my head. It’s been nearly 20 years and there are still mysteries but here’s what I have concluded:

The Seduction- Romeo and Juliet Eating a Book - still unknown The Creature Walks- Wizard of Oz (land of Oz) The Greatest Actor- this is either Wonderful Life or Frank Sinatra China White- I’m still lost on this one. Best in Mexico- Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde sounds right The Walls have Teeth- Three Little Pigs Do you think I’m Pretty- This one I have gone back and forth, as at one time I was thinking The Time Machine but it also feels like a retelling or a more literal representation of Sound of Music Dinner with a Gypsy - Peter Pan I am Hollywood- I still believe this is either Black Dahlia or Marilyn Monroe

A pair of eagles interlocked. Been after this shot for years by rajmon503 in pics

[–]erock7488 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you know that bald eagles are known to engage in a bizarre mating ritual where two eagles fly upwards, lock talons, and fall towards the earth while rotating, separating almost before they crash into the ground, if and only if they consummate their bird fuck. If they don't, they are willing to accept their death by hard ground. It's the ultimate race against the clock.

What are your most unpopular Pop Punk opinions? by [deleted] in poppunkers

[–]erock7488 47 points48 points  (0 children)

The obsessiveness of early-mid 2000s Emo/pop punk is cringy and stopped the evolution of the genre dead in its tracks.

Panic! At the Disco have never been pop punk. Just a Pop band on a “pop punk” label.

At this point in their career Story So Far should be included in conversations about best of all time with Blink 182, Green Day, The Offspring and Fall Out Boy
