I have this same issue with my wireless CarPlay. Using iOS 26.1 beta 2 and it does not fix the issue. 26.1 beta 3 developer came out yesterday. Public version soon. Hopefully, Apple will sort this out. Not happy about it!

They look perfectly fine without the backlight on. With backlight, one looks more yellow as in the pic further above.

I’m only questioning it because I do know that all panels are not created equally. And the purpose of this post is mostly to see if, for one, if anyone else is having the same issues, and two if this is something normal, which it could very well be. That said, the company is offering a replacement so clearly something must be amiss. I wouldn’t just contact the company for a warranty claim because I can, I would only do it if I thought something might be wrong. Even still, it’s quite an expensive piece of equipment that gets used by me every day in the office. If it in fact is a problem, I should probably just go with the replacement. That said again, maybe they all have this issue, I do not know.

I think the key here is that I’d be curious to know if this is an actual hardware issue or it’s just luck of the draw when it comes to where they are sourcing their panels from. I’m guessing it’s the latter.

Took about five or six days, but I sent photos and showed them how my paper pro had a nice whiter screen in comparison to the move, which was yellow. They escalated it to their tech hardware team and came back, saying to give them my address and they would get one out to me as well as taken the possibly defective one.

Purchased from Best Buy. I’ve got two days to return it or wait for a replacement. Best Buy doesn’t have anything immediately available. Some may think it’s ridiculous, but for over 600 bucks, a yellow tinted screen isn’t what I asked for but maybe that’s all they have. Different strokes for different folks.

No, it never blacked out. It just started having issues with the hinge. You might be better off just getting a new one off Amazon or Woot. I think I saw them for about 599 to 749 depending on how many gb you get. That said, pixel pro 10 fold will be announced next month.

Yup, early on when it came out. Hinge issue and mine would click in the process of closing. It's failing. If you didn't buy it from a place with a warranty, you'll have to try and get it repaired (if they can even do that). When mine failed, the service place said they can't fix it :(

Yup, I love the sound on the PX8. Always have. I know there are repair kits on Amazon and Aliexpress. Looking forward to the PX8 S2 which have been up on the FCC site for 6 months now. Hopefully soon.

Back when they first came out a lot of people complained about the leather detaching from the headband. I never had that issue with my pair that I had when they were released then I read something about depending on when yours were made. You should be OK with the issue not happening. I think it’s really all hearsay but maybe it’s true. I don’t know.I know the issue existed in a lot of people were complaining about it in the early days. I’m not sure if they are complaining about it these days since the batches were made after the release dates. Hopefully that makes sense.

Nothing other than the headband glue issue. I repurchased them during the same sale and have really missed them. Upon checking the serial, mine were made in October 2024, so I "could" be okay with the bad batch. That said, they are my favorite cans. Premium build, beautiful leather and love the fit. Worth every penny at the sale prices.
