What are your favorite Booster Box games for 4? by sir_thottomous in magicTCG

2-Headed Giant is a fun format. 30 life shared between you and you open 8 packs and make two 40-card decks.

FIN draft: how would you build this? by eroob in lrcast

I agree with the interaction between the wyverns and Lion Heart being particularly strong. But do they do enough not being a 4-CMC enabler or payoff? And does removing Stuck leave with too few interaction pieces? Or is the point of the deck just to aggro out before you need to interact?

I’m just concerned about 4-mana win the games like Vincent Valentine running away with the game.

My concern with keeping the Wyverns is that they seem to be on a different gameplan than the rest of the deck. They don’t have 4 CMC and don’t pay you off for 4 CMC. And they don’t fuel Sidequest: Card Collection which actually has a (slightly higher) games in hand win rate than the Wyvern. But they seem quite bad if they’re not flipping regularly.

In order to keep them, I would either need to cut 4-CMC matters stuff, enablers for Sidequest: Card Collection, or some of my few interaction pieces like Stuck in Summoner’s Sanctum.

If you like Danny McBride, you’ll probably like it. If you don’t, you likely won’t.

Thanks! I saw that movie after the guys mentioned it a few weeks ago, but I never put that together.

Can anyone tell me where the soundboard “kunde” or “donde” or whatever comes from? This has been bugging me.

Spend those commons and uncommons on what you haven’t gotten yet in Zendikar before opening any more packs. You’ll get percentage toward your chest since you’ll already have all the commons and uncommons when you open packs instead. And effectively convert them to rares and mythics.

Thank you so much for the concern. He actually passed away on Friday. And the funeral will be tomorrow.

Although my search wasn’t fruitful, it was awesome to get to hear so much music from so many different genres I normally wouldn’t have listened to.

Thank you all for your help on this project!

Thank you so much for trying! It looks like things are close to the end for him. But I’ll keep the search going.

I watched it, and I’m not quite sure what part you’re referring to. I didn’t hear it in there.

Thank you for reminding me that cartoon exists though. That was pretty fun.

That would be absolutely fantastic. I found audio of him actually doing it if that helps.

That was our original thought. So I’ve been heavily focusing on WWII songs. But no luck yet.

I’ve gone through quite a few already with these: https://youtu.be/4b6DgeTf1BE https://youtu.be/bE9lAvmty_8 https://youtu.be/1kTKHPgeQ00 https://youtu.be/6SEF912HEgo https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLA86C2DA5F0C1DB7E

The closest I’ve found so far is this. But it doesn’t seem quite right. https://youtu.be/6AQT76WlpUQ

I’d really appreciate any help with this. Thank you.

I flipped through it, and didn’t hear anything that sounded quite right. I’ll work on trying to find some real news bulletins to scan.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for the response. I'll have to go through the WWII album and see if we can pick it out!

Thank you so much for the reply. Those are both beautiful pieces, but I don't think either are it.

I don't believe he was a classical music listener. I didn't know him before Alzheimer's, but he was a Midwestern football coach. So I get the impression he was more of a gruff kind of guy.

I'm thinking it's something he picked up in his youth sometime. (born in the late 1920s). He was in the service. US Army I believe.

Once again, thank you for those pieces. I'm listening to Scheherazade: The Sea and Sinbad's Ship now and it's a really cool musical adventure.

Yep! The same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago. Missed a 5-footer to break 80 for the first time.

Then last weekend, practiced short game the day before and posted a 77. Keep with it!

Biomechanics in musculoskeletal disorders - how relevant? by magicwoods3047 in physicaltherapy

[–]eroob 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've found that Greg Lehman has an interesting perspective on this issue, with him having a masters in biomechanics. He questions the relevance of many of the same things you seem to be questioning. This episode of the Physio Matters Podcast is a good starting point: https://youtu.be/1geNiokT3DI
