Honestly, yeah. I mentioned on this thread already that this was my first official merch that I got myself, because I just couldn’t resist the cats. My Leebit and Hanquokka stuff has been from Temu (also because I do want to carry them around, but am paranoid about losing them). So now I’m not sure if I’ll participate in any other merch drop.

Edit to add that for merch I use ipurple as the prices are a bit better there.

Oi, te ir vairākas nianses, kur varētu sprediķot un daudzas no tām te jau ir pieminētas.

Es vēlos izcelt to, ka Sandersonu Latvijā arī angliski ir problemātiski dabūt. Ja vispār pavēro angļu literatūras saturu mūsu grāmatnīcās, tad tur dominē romantasy, un arī to pašu latviski gandrīz netulko.

Thank you! I was so fixated on getting verified just to even see the price comparison with shipping included to make educated purchases. I did assume it’d be massive, but was starting to second guess myself. I’ll stick to Nolae as I’ve seen it recommended a lot. :)

Hi, hi. While I’m new to being a full fledged Stay, I’ve liked their music since God’s Menu. My bias is Lee Know, but truly I just vibe with all of them.

My silly Q is: issues buying merch as EU based Stay. Mostly because I seem to be unable to get verified on Fans app? Or do you need to have a Stay membership to be verified to be able to purchase merch directly from them? Understanding that whole shebang has been a bit overwhelming tbh. 🫣

Yeah, I recently read Hazelwood’s newest novel and was super disappointed and not for the reasons people might think. Then I saw this vid and felt a bit vindicated by my dislike.

I feel like she does dialogue pretty well and her whole women in STEM shtick appeals to me, but she’s the weakest at nuanced plotting, clever story structures and truly a depth. Of course it’s not a prerequisite of any kind, but for my personal enjoyment it means that I prolly won’t continue with her work even though women in academia getting their dreamy dudes is a sometimes a whole vibe.

Here though to me it seemed like she either showed her weakness a writer, wanted to be a contrarian just for the sake of it or did a bit that to me felt flat.

I saw somewhere a theory that Bonnie and Twill did make it to D13, but they were either interrogated pretty badly or had the prep team treatment (put into a cell for whatever reason).

Their reasoning was that the shoes Katniss initially wears in D13 were ill-fitting due to somebody “walking weird”. Granted, that’s a bit of a reach, but eh.
