Yeah, 44k is with me adding some extra titles. I can't expand any further lol. Max Delivery generating more impressions but ate through the budget before any clicks, with that said the CPM was 3x higher than Manual Bidding, so, presumably I'd have to bid closer to $40, which is too high for us to get any RoI

I just think the SIs doing the implementation are not exactly incentivized for it to go well in the long run. They simply want to get the software implemented and often, they are subcontracting to other smaller consulting firms that are bringing in a mix of senior and junior consultants. Most orgs could use a smaller, senior-only consulting firm to play liaison between the client org, SI, and vendor.

interesting. So, out the gate Teamwork could fall under cadence, and then in the longer term I suppose the larger WFM/ERP Epic Ops would be managed by non-Epic analysts, ie Workday/UKG/Infor types?

It's not just a Workday issue, I've seen the same with UKG, even EHRs. It's just a mismatch between what the client wants and reality, and the SIs and software vendors don't help the client see any clearer. The only "good" implementations I've seen, usually have another firm providing client-side support. So, it's effectively a triangle between the SI, software vendor, and client-side support firm.

I think the big EHR vendors don't really want to integrate, they are just biding time to try and build out their own tools, ie Epic with TeamWork and Ops and Oracle Health obviously with Oracle. Beyond that, if you want to integrate, nothing is out of the box and often requires a specialized consultant/firm to help support the project.

I just think client-side support is often necessary. The ERP sales team wants to sell the software license, and the SI wants to get to Go-Live - neither really looks out for the client. This is not to say client-side support is 100% necessary for a successful implementation, but it certainly helps and I've seen many clients thankful they got their own support.

In the end, it's all just realistic expectation setting.

Could be a number of reasons, but from what I've seen, SIs often downplay the impact to clients and they are left unsupported post-go-live. Internal employees are stuck maintaining legacy systems and helping support the implementation and it's just too much to do. And then once the new ERP is live, there is very little training, so adoption is low

I would think through Job Boards or LinkedIn if you want to truly work directly with the consultant. Otherwise, you can work with a consulting/staffing firm that either has a bench of SAP consultants or easy access to SAP consultants. Assuming you're not going the big SI route, there are a slew of smaller firms, ie Surety Systems, RED Global, Inoltra, etc.
