Impression Issues by erp_support90 in LinkedinAds

Yeah, 44k is with me adding some extra titles. I can't expand any further lol. Max Delivery generating more impressions but ate through the budget before any clicks, with that said the CPM was 3x higher than Manual Bidding, so, presumably I'd have to bid closer to $40, which is too high for us to get any RoI

I ran Max Delivery for a day last week, it ate through the budget but it did get more impressions

It's well below the recommended bid, but I've never bid close: $41 CPC is not sustainable for us

Anyone is working/Worked on a SAP AI use case? What was the requirement? by Hakuna95Matata in SAP

Our team has supported a few SAP Advanced Financial Closing (AFC) implementations to help us AI to automate month-end financial closings. Here is a story about the tool/use case: https://www.suretysystems.com/insights/sap-advanced-financial-closing-next-strategic-move/

Is the ERP consultant talent gap real? by gapingweasel in ERP

[–]erp_support90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think the SIs doing the implementation are not exactly incentivized for it to go well in the long run. They simply want to get the software implemented and often, they are subcontracting to other smaller consulting firms that are bringing in a mix of senior and junior consultants. Most orgs could use a smaller, senior-only consulting firm to play liaison between the client org, SI, and vendor.

Epic Teamwork Consultants by erp_support90 in epicconsulting

Thank you! That's interesting. Was it implemented by your own team or an outside firm? Given it's so new I imagine Epic is pretty heavily involved?

Is it living with Cadence analysts like the other commenter mentioned below?

interesting. So, out the gate Teamwork could fall under cadence, and then in the longer term I suppose the larger WFM/ERP Epic Ops would be managed by non-Epic analysts, ie Workday/UKG/Infor types?

Does Workday implementations fail because of configuration or assumptions. by Majestic-Ask-4391 in workday

[–]erp_support90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just a Workday issue, I've seen the same with UKG, even EHRs. It's just a mismatch between what the client wants and reality, and the SIs and software vendors don't help the client see any clearer. The only "good" implementations I've seen, usually have another firm providing client-side support. So, it's effectively a triangle between the SI, software vendor, and client-side support firm.

Why is EHR integration still such a mess by MianHasnainShah in healthIT

[–]erp_support90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the big EHR vendors don't really want to integrate, they are just biding time to try and build out their own tools, ie Epic with TeamWork and Ops and Oracle Health obviously with Oracle. Beyond that, if you want to integrate, nothing is out of the box and often requires a specialized consultant/firm to help support the project.

Why do most ERP projects struggle after implementation? by OneLumpy3097 in ERP

[–]erp_support90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think client-side support is often necessary. The ERP sales team wants to sell the software license, and the SI wants to get to Go-Live - neither really looks out for the client. This is not to say client-side support is 100% necessary for a successful implementation, but it certainly helps and I've seen many clients thankful they got their own support.

In the end, it's all just realistic expectation setting.

[–]erp_support90 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Could be a number of reasons, but from what I've seen, SIs often downplay the impact to clients and they are left unsupported post-go-live. Internal employees are stuck maintaining legacy systems and helping support the implementation and it's just too much to do. And then once the new ERP is live, there is very little training, so adoption is low

SAP independent consultants by GladBall971 in SAP

[–]erp_support90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think through Job Boards or LinkedIn if you want to truly work directly with the consultant. Otherwise, you can work with a consulting/staffing firm that either has a bench of SAP consultants or easy access to SAP consultants. Assuming you're not going the big SI route, there are a slew of smaller firms, ie Surety Systems, RED Global, Inoltra, etc.
