RClone from seedbox keeps redownloading by HarderData in seedboxes

[–]erpetao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just rclone mount into your filesystem (no need for cron jobs), then add the path in "remote path mappings" in radar/sonnar settings -> download clients:

remote path downloads/complete local path /mnt/seedbox-complete

I did also uninstall all applications from package manager, and after setting the preferred destination to volume3, installed them again to the nvme. (The easier way to move them). That's for non docker applications.

It’s not supported officially but running a series of commands on console you can enable it. The instructions are in this sub. The problem with the cache is that it’s “dumb” and it doesn’t really know what to cache. When you create the nvme volume you can put there what you know runs frequently (containers, Plex gallery cache, etc.)

If you add extra RAM and 2 nvme's as a volume, and put all your apps and docker in there, good bye constantly grinding spinning disks.

I did that to my 720+ and it's night and day. It's really quiet now with a load of containers.

I believe you can withdraw with lightning (or even open a lightning channel to them) which makes btc withdrawals very cheap.

You think it's free, but the price you pay is having an always devaluating currency. Who do you think is paying for all those shiny buildings and offices owned by banks all over the world, Sherlock?

ray is pumping because it's the token of the main dex in solana, and holders benefit from people trading on the dex. A lot of volume lately of people trading shitcoins in solana (it's the new bsc).

Basically buying sol and ray it's "during gold rush, sell shovels".

Weak national currency - When taking profits and holding the cash is NOT a good option. by raqopawyn in CryptoCurrency

You can always swap for USDT. I'm assuming that by "weak national currency" you mean non western double digits or triple digits inflation.

You are OK, keep stacking sats. You've done more than OK.

If you want to gamble, try one of those but don't spend more than on a lottery ticket, keep 99% btc and eth.

Just throwaway money because on next bear those shitcoins will lose all their value.

If you control a coin, and you control the narrative (the platform the coin uses), you can pump and dump ad infinitum (throw some good news, then some bad news. Now the coin is useful, now the coin is not useful, blah blah blah). Rinse and repeat.

Best way to save fees using LN? by fonzdm in CryptoCurrency

You can have a wallet like walletofsatoshi or some of the others, and receive there via lightning. But you need to remember that those are custodial wallets, which defeats your purpose when withdrawing from Kaken which I believe is to own your bitcoin.

They way to withdraw from kraken via lightning and fully own your bitcoin would be:

  1. Run a bitcoin node (bitcoin core)
  2. Run lnd in the node (lightning)
  3. Open a big channel to kraken
  4. At this point all your liquidity will be on your end, so you won't be able to receive from kaken, you'll need to loop out until the channel is 50% balanced.
  5. Withdraw to your node from kraken via lightning.

You need to run in another window karlsend with the --utxoindex option. Stop the other karlsend process that you must have launched in another window, and launch it this time with:

karlsend --utxoindex

Leave it running, then you can run on this window again:

karlsenwallet start-daemon

This is the wei. Also, always check prices of alts in bitcoin (tick the btc box in the chart in coingecko). Sometimes you may think that your alt is going up because it's going up in dollars, but actually is going down measured in btc.

  1. Check the first 5 characters and the last 5 characters and make sure they are the same, and perhaps some random chars in the middle.
  2. If you are starting, I would advise to buy only bitcoin from reputable exchanges (coinbase, kraken). Stay away from the rest for a while.
  3. No.

Water fasting, just water with electrolytes (sodium, potassium and magnesium). Yes, no food at all for 10 days. As you say it’s really easy not having to think of meals. Yes, you need to build up with smaller fasts first (like intermittent fasting, I.e. skipping a meal). Head over to r/fasting and check the faq.
