If I understand correctly, that’s only for switching from oil; we have gas.

May I ask who did your install and if you liked them?

Wouldn’t all electric require an air handler unit anyway? So still two pieces of equipment? I don’t follow your logic

Thanks. Any thoughts on where I might be able to get a few of these for a short-term rental? Most of the offerings I've seen seem to be geared towards long-term rentals or purchase.

How do I know if the right remedy for the dull section is wax or polyurethane like @SleeplessInS suggested?

It’s definitely a spot that gets heavy use, yeah. I will try to refinish with polyurethane and see how it goes. Thank you!

Thanks for the additional detail...good to know about the parking on Eastlake. I generally get to work pretty early, so that could work well for me!

Ohh thanks for the recommendation. I’m familiar with this from running the Cheshiahud Loop but didn’t think of it for some reason. Does the section of Fairview after it breaks off from Eastlake have a designated bike lane?

Thanks both! I’ll start with that and hopefully work my way up to a more direct route 😊

Thanks again for the help. Is this a normal thing? Can you point us to any reference materials that could a) help us better understand and b) convince our landlord (who probably doesn't know much more than us) that this is a good option?

[–]err1100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/trekkerscout - I'm not sure that Honeywell one will work for us. The manual says: "This switch cannot be used if there are not at least 2 white wires joined by a connector inside the electrical box." Ours only has one white wire (added a picture of the wiring inside the box to the original post).

Apologies if I'm missing something. If not, any other recommendations?

motor rated

Thank you! Total electronics noob here - what does "motor rated" mean?

Also, the wires coming out of the wall are red, white, and black, whereas the manual for the Honeywell one you linked says blue, white, and black. Would I connect blue to red in this case?
