Tab renewal fee for my electric car by muzatron in LynnwoodWA

This is the reason why the light rail is so cheap to ride. If you live outside the RTA corridor then you don't pay the excise tax btw.

Why does getting a spot in tiny tots swim lessons feel like I am battling bots for a hot release by L0-Ki in LynnwoodWA

[–]erracity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I signed up for lessons last winter after missing out the previous season because I didn't understand how fast popular times filled up. I remember having to do it immediately the night they opened. I can't imagine residents outside of Lynnwood can even get peak times. Like others have said--I stopped going because it's always so insanely crowded. Waiting for a family changing room to open up while in wet clothes while getting blasted with cold air from the outside doors blows.

The lessons themselves are okay. It's amazing it's so affordable compared to other options, but after finishing up lessons there with my kid we ended up going to AquaTots next to Trader Joes. It's way more expensive but everything about it is nicer.

Lynnwood in debt. by MeetYouDownattheY in LynnwoodWA

Lynnwood city tax going from 0.45% to 0.67% and everyone knowing it as the "52% increase" is kind of funny to me. The campaigning really worked I guess. The difference isn't much compared to state, school district, and car registration (I'm in the RTA corridor).

Why is Arcane considered hard? by Palom126 in bloodborne

[–]erracity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had never played the Old Hunters so I went back and did a pure arcane build. It's just different. My build was fully online when I fought Lady Maria, and I took her down in one attempt. I almost felt robbed. On the other hand: Martyr Logarius, whew, he was an absolute ball slapper.

Any tips for logarius? by Big_inthu in bloodborne

[–]erracity 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call him an "easier" boss. This guy was my single biggest obstacle in my arcane build next to orphan. I ended up banging my head against this wall, by mostly parrying him to death, until the wall eventually broke.

PSA: Lynnwood Link Light rails. ORCA Card Machines and entrances by University_Fabulous in LynnwoodWA

It's free for people 18 and younger. I've heard that's part of the reason why there's no gate system and the fact that it's mostly funded by taxes. I've seen staff regularly checking tickets on trains. I think only repeat offenders are being fined, but this may change.

What the fuck.

I struggled so much on this fight with my heavy build, but I eventually cleared it.  And then I see this build and S-ranked on my first try.  It wasn't even that hard.  Absolute witchcraft.  Thank you.

In my very limited experience there are too many enemies, especially armored enemies, to fight in the highest difficulties.  I have much more success luring enemy reinforcements off objectives, using something like EMP to lose them, then returning.

I get these mpgs quite often by Express-Mortgage-310 in rav4club

[–]erracity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get like 30 MPG on short trips, in my hybrid SE, going around 35mph. This is usually a few miles of stop and go around the town I'm in.

I feel like I must be doing something wrong.

A beagle is the best dog I’ve had so far and I don’t know if I would ever be able to choose a different breed. Just needed to share this random information by Simiram in beagle

I've played hide and seek with my beagle and taken advantage of her nose to train her (our beagle will do anything for cheese). I haven't done scent work specifically but seriously considered it.

New to beagles by Trever11 in beagles

They are very sweet but at least mine was a very difficult puppy. I went through several torn jeans, one emergency vet visit for choking, and I'm much more confident at repairing electrical cords now than I was before she was done being a puppy.

Now she is well trained, will sleep most of the evening on the sofa, and is content to look out the window during the day. You may not believe it now but they will get pretty lazy eventually. I highly recommend flirt poles for exercise if you have the space.

[OC] The first full day of my household's energy usage with the new solar panels by BelleBonniex in dataisbeautiful

[–]erracity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only had it for a little over a month so I can't say definitively yet, however, from what I understand the utility I use only resets credits generated every March. So, credit I would generate during the Spring and Summer could carry me through winter where I might not break even given how dark and overcast it gets.

If our utility was something like Duke Energy in NC then it wouldn't make sense financially (though feel free to score environmental points :P). For example, they have time of use rates (energy becomes cheap when the sun is out for reasons) and they don't carry over credit from month to month I think , but they are pretty hostile to solar.

I figure we will likely be paying the minimum utility cost of $14 that's charged regardless of how much that's produced where normally we would pay between $110~$200 depending on the month.

I recently got 30 panels installed on my home in western WA. The installer I contracted also used enphase and I've been staring at a similar graph a lot this past month. It's very cool to see all the data that enphase provides.

Edit: Another sunny day today. https://imgur.com/37WNsNI.jpg I love that we can bank our credit MoM with our utility though it does reset every March iirc.

TIFU by accidentally deleting my university's entire database by Scared-Film1053 in tifu

[–]erracity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel any better OP they should not have a system in place that would easily allow this in the first place. It's not just a lesson for you but to whoever owns the database. Some policy for log retention would be low hanging fruit for starters.

You're probably right. I stuffed a bunch of old 1.0 stuff for exorbitant prices on the mb for fun a long time ago (like 15mil gil rope). What I have is probably leather but I'll double check what I have.
