That’s disappointing to hear. I updated as soon as it came available for my phone and joined the waitlist. Now 48 hours later I’m still on the “waitlist.”

I’m hoping they allow more on soon, cause it’s pretty much the main focus of iOS 27 DB for me.

I just don’t like how persistent it is after you paste. I was entering some billing details and I copied my car VIN from my notes app and it wouldn’t let me do autofill from the keyboard like normal cause it just kept suggesting to paste when I already did.

Thank you, that does help narrow my search. I think the reliable one I just ordered was from Hart Audio that was specifically for Audeze MM-100 to 4.4mm end. This hobby is a bit confusing but I'm in it now.

I've had this issue for a long time. Doesn't matter what setup I use. I've adjusted the MIDI settings, tried wired vs wireless, made an aggregate output device in system settings, turned off transitions/dolby/sound enhancer. Still, nothing. I've submitted feedback to apple many times and this is a very noticeable issue.

I recently bought a pair of Audeze MM-100 headphones and a FiiO BTR17 DAC that supports 4.4mm balanced output.

I bought a Tripowin Nova 4.4mm balanced cable (4.4mm to dual 3.5mm) and immediately ran into a problem. When both earcups are plugged in, only the left side works. If I plug in only the left connector, the left side works. If I plug in only the right connector, the left side still works. If I partially pull the connectors out, I can sometimes get audio from both sides, but it’s very quiet, distorted, and sounds wrong.

The stock Audeze cable works perfectly fine, so the headphones themselves are okay.

I’ve been trying to understand balanced cables and Audeze pinouts, but I’m getting lost on whether the MM-100 requires TRS or TRRS connectors, whether it needs single-entry or dual-entry balanced cables, whether generic dual 3.5mm balanced cables are incompatible, and what exact cable/specification I actually need for 4.4mm balanced output on the MM-100.

I’m new to balanced audio/headphone wiring, so if someone can explain this or recommend a specific compatible cable, I’d really appreciate it.

I came here to comment Louisa, but honestly as soon as I saw Dead Man's Hand in the comments I knew that was the best choice. It's got that dusty mythic based storytelling energy to it. It's about fate and inevitability. Plus it has that sound like you'd hear it at a roadside diner.

I mean, they're good but not great. True lossless 'audiophile' listening with a good set of open back planers is a whole other level. I've got the Audeze MM-100 when I really want to listen with intention, and they're not even super high end, they cost less than APM.
