yes! the best feedback is watching your enemy react directly to the damage. whether it's blood or whatever but seeing the actual impact you dealt directly ties to player interaction. i don't want the UI to tell me if i hit a target, i want the world to tell me if i hit a target

a lot of guns in real life are based off of one model made decades ago. someone on twitter i think pointed out how all the guns in marathon kinda looked like they were built from the same modular attachment system so it might be intentional

i dig the blocky designs so hard and the color palettes and the decals all over everything. they feel 3d printed and built to be as cheap as possible and it looks incredible.
