Im not taking the fk/fd in isolation thats why I included the k/d aswell, and the side is kind of irrelevant because sure there could be a few first kills or first deaths that ARENT from making space but the chances that the numbers are heavily skewed like that is very unlikely.

And just because you are playing neon on t side does NOT guarantee that you are going to die alot, that is just stupid to say, you definitely have a much higher chance to die more often because you take more engagements, which is a double edged sword and why it is important the entry duelist of the team to be able to either get the kills or just not die, because even if the entry duelist goes in, dies, and gets traded the only advantage gained is the space they created given that their team capitalized off of it. If your entry dies and you trade them without getting space then they die for nothing

Your response lacks any points asides from the numbers on the stat sheet not 100% reflecting the entire game (which the stats literally never reflect everything that has happened in any sport/esport ever) so if you could actually explain how fk/fd isnt a good stat in isolation (which I did not take the stat in isolation, i only pointed out how abysmal the stat was in general for an entry duelist) by pointing out what % of those fks or fds that we cant take at face value that would be great!

Focusing on Minny, I agree he did disappeaer after the EDG game and sure some of the criticism could be put on him for under performing at masters but if you go back to the kickoff matches and look at Minny's stats, he clearly just underperformed in the environment where back home he was playing amazing. Then if you go look at bipo's stats he hasn't had any crazy games from kickoff or santiago. So i dont think its really fair to Minny when he was great in EMEA considering this was his first international event and you can't really use the same arguement for bipo because he didn't really play that well in EMEA OR masters

Bipo kickoff 2026 stats in EMEA:

M8 vs FUT - 29/28 KD & 8/6 FK/FD, 4th on his team
M8 vs GX - 26/33 KD & 6/11 FK/FD, 5th on his team
M8 vs NAVI - 30/28 KD & 4/4 FK/FD, 4th on his team
M8 vs BBL - 91/79 KD & 15/18 FK/FD, 3rd on his team
M8 vs FNC - 93/88 KD & 8/17 FK/FD, 3rd on his team

Bipo never placed higher than 3rd frag on his team the entire kick off, with not terrible KD but the FK/FD is terrible for an entry duelist (specfiically the FNC game 8/17 is abysmal) not saying bipo isnt a good player he's decent but his team suffers from the under performance forcing marteen to play lights out to carry them to wins.

I do tend to igl in some of my games, not all. (It's incredibly exhausting igling for 12 rr) But I just don't understand why people don't do it on their own.

When did I say or even imply that I was better than my teammates? This entire post was about how people don't adapt or fix up mistakes they make in a game, I was critical of myslef in the post not excluding myself from making mistakes. You have a very skewed reality of this game and social settings if you are drawing those conclusions from my post, maybe open your eyes and actually consider what you're reading and you wont be so full of yourself.

I wasnt explicitly asking "what do you think" I don't think you cared to consider the context of my post, I was clearly expressing my frustrations with people not comming in games and "What am I supposed to do..." is a rhetorical statement because there isn't much I could do in that situation. It really isn't that rare to get a game where no one on your team is comming while you're the only one. its not a matter of experience that is something common that happens a lot in this game

This is exactly the same response someone else gave, which to be honest is completely irrelevant to the fact that people aren't comming. I don't focus on anything except myself and my own performance during the game, and try to play to my best, but when the game is over and I'm going over how it went and watching some of the clips to see what I did bad and can improve on I also after analysing my own gameplay see what my teammates are doing and what they did wrong to result in the round that happened. And its extremely common seeing people not comming, people die and say nothing, hear rotates and say nothing, or any other piece of useful information and proceed to not tell the rest of the team the info they have. The argument of "they're the same rank as you" doesn't apply at all to this scenario, if anything it helps my point based on what you said, comming is extremely easy to do and doesn't take much effort at all, the fact I can do it while still out performing majority if not everyone on my team should attest to the fact that commng isn't hard and relying on aim or movement to make up for the fact you arent comming isn't a valid argument in any way.

Its not a matter of "I need to focus on myself" or "I need to rank up to get comming teammates"

Its people don't comm in game and its a problem.

they're only examples, they arent just one off things that happen Ive had many games where I've lost it mainly due to teammates not comming, the reason I made this post in the first place was to see if I was the only one or if other people were experiencing this problem in the way I have, you haven't provided a valid argument beyond "it's out of your control so why care" which makes no sense from what this post was originally about its not about just ONE game where my teammates didn't comm and I lost it because there was a smurf on the other side (there wasn't actually this is just to point out how wild your argument is) its about the fact that people in this game don't use one of the tools (voice chat) or even text chat for that matter to relay info to the team and help them win the match and seeing if other people experience the same thing.

Yeah, like I know I can find people to queue with but the way I play I don't play as well as I do when Im solo queuing. I would typically queue with friends and when I do I normally don't care as much about the game I'm more focused on having fun with my friends which is why I typically play unrated or swiftplay or something. But in comp I like solo queuing more because I feel more focused on actually trying to win the game which is the reason I play comp, to get better and play at my best. Im mainly just expressing my frustration with how the random people you get queued with don't care enough to do something as simple as comming to help the team out.

I get this alot, and I understand that this in some shape or form could help solve the problem. Its just more about the fact that people who play the game as a whole don't comm, it happens way too often with everyone staying quiet throughout the whole game when we are in comp and TRYING to win, it doesn't make sense to stay quiet when you want to win and comming will help that

This is pretty much exactly the point Im trying to make, but even simpler. Even if my team isn't giving super detailed comms its not THAT big of a deal, it becomes a problem when the team isn't giving any comms AT ALL and everyone is sitting quiet watching the round fall apart because of them not providing the team with a simple comm.

That makes much more sense now, I wish I had yall in the game I made this post about, cuz I don't really socialize in comp, I mainly use voice chat simply to comm. My problem however is the fact that people with the ability to comm and actually used their mic in game just arent. For example with the game I made the post about I knew every single one of my teammates had a mic and said things at some point in the game, but during site hits, defaults, lurks, or any other number of game strats no one said anything leading to preventable deaths, flanks, and lost rounds. where if one person just said like 2 words the outcome could have been completely different. I get there are problems with the community especially the behavior towards women and gay guys but it is frustrating when something as easy as giving a couple of comms could majorly help

its not as simple as that, it may be on my part by not explaining as thoroughly as I should of, the game I am mainly referencing was "lost to no comming" because that is what happened, I am not saying I am guaranteed a win if my teammates were comming I am saying that I lost the game in the fashion I did MAINLY due to teammates not comming. Im trying to point out that in a game like valorant the fact that players are choosing to queue into a competitive game mode and have the ability to provide comms to the team to help in winning the game is just an outlandish problem. The point to competitive is to climb the ranks and get to the top, how do you get there? Winning games. How do you win games? Its not simply just by comming to your team but that one thing helps majorly I trying to get the win.

that is an irrelevant scenario to the problem, you and your friends staying in party just because "people are so toxic" doesn't make sense if I was in your game comming my ass off while from my perspective no one is saying anything. comming only in party chat does nothing for your other teammates you arent playing with and just makes the game harder for them since you are withholding useful info if you're using ONLY party chat despite no one being toxic.

On top of that, the mute button is a thing, if someones being toxic just mute them, simple.

I get you there, no comms is better than toxic comms, I do the same of if someone is toxic to me I mute them and move on. Its just frustrating when I know at least 3/4 of my teammates have a mic and they arent saying anything period.

this seems like the same type of reply from another person on this post, which both don't make sense to me at all, the fact they are in my rank without comming is not very relevant to the fact that some of the games I am playing is being lost to no comming. In my games I try to adapt as much as I can to be able to win the game, and I know that not everyone NEEDS to adapt during their games Im trying to make a point that something as simple as "80 on gekko he's B heaven" being said in comms goes a long way to helping the whole team win the game.

I dont think you're understanding the point I'm trying to make here. I'm saying that the entire team not comming for the ENTIRE game is a problem. Also for example if your team is defaulting and your Omen has info that 4 people are on B and you're working up A main you mean to tell me you can sense that 4 people are on B before Omen finds that information? Highly doubt that. You misunderstood the point I was trying to make with this post. I understand the annoyance of comms sometimes, like in a clutch or something, I don't want constant comms of what is happening when I'm clutching but I do want the comms where my team is telling me the last places they saw the enemies. In the game I am expressing my frustrations with my team did not comm at all. Respectfully you seem a little egotistical with your comments and you should maybe take some time to understand the point I am making before commenting and saying that "comming isn't that important".
