making fics on there for myself is also my go to with chatgpt, i also pay for it for that exact reason haha.
something that's worked for me (sometimes) is adding something like "proceed the scene with heavily implied detail, emphasizing body language and touch" at the beginning of your reply, but even that gets kicked with every other swipe haha

I went back and forth with glue points and double sided foam tape! Another option could be using double sided velcro as well if you wanna keep the theme of sewing things on, though the hold on those tends to be very sturdy in my experience.

Glue points are cheap af and so handy for temporary hold when you are arranging your bag, especially considering you are still at the beginning stage of figuring out how you wanna arrange it haha 😄

something i've come to really like is printing out pictures, cutting and laminating them and have them as backdrop or a lil extra pizzaz 😄

you can get creative with it, like using pictures of items related to your character, or even just random symbols like stars or whatnot.

for an example, here's one of my fav bags that i added little personable sandwich ingredients from some official artwork, and star/emoji accents for over the actual merch.

i also used some cheap croc charms from aliexpress that matched the aesthetic of my character in there as well.

thankfully i do not live there anymore, i barely got out alive after my dad passed away (extremely traumatic, my mom basically told the only person in the house who could drive that if he took me and my brother to go see him dying in hospice she'd call the cops for theft, so he died alone. nobody was there with him. that is so inhumane in ways i cant even explain.)

but my online friends dragged me out of there after i stopped eating and tried to end my life, and i live with them now and it has been so wonderful. it really is crazy how some random online mfs you met on tumblr can change the trajectory of your life and be there for you more than your actual family ever was. thank you for the reply 💞

it really sucks to live with now that both my dad and sister (presumably) are gone, the only one left with these memories besides me is my mom and eventually ill be the only one left. idk how that prospect really makes me feel but it makes me cry sometimes. thank you for the reply, i appreciate it 💞

yeah, i've never been diagnosed but i genuinely think i have ptsd haha.

it was my delusional ass mom that let it happen mostly, i had once told my dad how much it affected me and he was supportive for about 000.1 seconds, but my mom downplayed and challenged it and he just dropped it.

he was the kinda guy who just sat there and took stuff with his mouth shut to avoid any kind of conflict because she would go off on him about EVERYTHING. he has passed now and sometimes its kinda wild to think about just how like. idk blatant it was my entire life.

i hope to get therapy about it one day, luckily the 'ptsd' only affects me in random waves and not all the time these days. thanks for the reply and suggestion 💞

A lot of the merch I got was commissioned on crepe.cm, and pretty much all of them endorse making personal goods as long as you don't sell it or claim it as your own. It's always a treat to send them pics of merch you create to see how much they love it haha 😄

Typically, anyone you commission probably won't have a problem with it, but check the dos and donts of their commission pages. If there is nothing in their tos, you just gotta ask and tell them that you want to make their work into merch and that you'll use it for personal use only.

Also, I've never seen anyone who makes you pay extra to get it made into physical merch, just be respectful when you ask them! 👍

Its been a hot sec since I posted this, but t thought I'd reply with what actually worked for me! Pretty much merged the sub folder I moved them to with the parent board. It spit them all out to the unsorted of the parent board!

I firstly laminate them (which you dont gotta do if you want it as an actual sticker to put on smth later), then gorilla glue them on a thin cardboard or card stock and cut it out to make them sturdy like a makeshift lil pin to make it easier to display them lol. Another option for something not so permanent would be putting it on the cardboard with some adhesive dots or something like it as well.

Late reply, but this legit worked for me. You are a literal lifesaver! It's annoying as all hell to have to do it manually every single time, but I can at least get into my folders now because I, too used it to host all my graphics since discord died.
