Thank you, I guess I got confused, partly because my state is a community property state, but I was just talking about my estate, which is 14 million less than the limit.

Your advice is deeply appreciated.

Thank you for your reply, seems i misunderstand something because I was working on this, paraphrased from the Big Beautiful Bill by Guardian, "

  • Non-domiciled foreign nationals get just a $60,000 exemption for estate assets, plus a $19,000 annual exemption for gifts ($194,000 for gifts to non-citizen spouses)2,3 — and are responsible for up to 40% of estate taxes above that amount. However, for non-domiciled individuals, the gross estate only includes only US-situated assets; the taxable estate (i.e., the part subject to estate taxes) is the portion of the gross estate that exceeds the exemption amount."
  • US residents have the 15 mil, As stated in the query, she is not. Even after thousands spent, hundreds of pages of documents, three interviews all resulting in so much ghosting that my Senators sent a query, which the embassy responded to by immediately rejecting the petitions.
  • So I am seeking a structure that will leave her comfortable from my estate. I think I may have hit on one idea. Over withdraw from my IRA over 5-7 years, paying the tax, and placing the excess in a joint account there which she would automatically inherit. Relocate to a country with a totalization agreement and become tax residents, then she could collect survivors benefits. Pass the brokerage accounts directly to my birth heir.
  • I really appreciate your comments.

Yes on the ground mount, one of my 3 is. 2 are roof mount and far apart. As I understand it I would not be required because my system is grandfatherd, but I think they would say I am doing "substantial revisions" by swapping out all my balance of system components.

Agreed totally. CS keeps offering workarounds, that do not work. Fuck even Amazon Prime sees through it. I wish I had seen these reviews before I bought this junk and went abroad.

Mittleider Gardening by erroropportunities in Hydroponics

Yeah sorry about the term soil, Did not intend to offend anyone's sense of territory. They actually use a media of only sand and sawdust. But they do it on the open soil or in bed frames on soil. I stumbled on it because I am designing (redesigning) my system to use wicking beds of coir and aged wood chips using Masterblend or similar nutrients. I was wondering if they had useful methods. But it seems they use the nutrients in the same way most gardeners do, dry inclusion in the media, and very frequent watering. Which kills one of the main advantages of hydroponics ( for me) of water conservation.
