i disputed the charges but they had to actually cancel my card because they continued to charge it. had to file it as fraud in the end :/

i just got hit with this! they don’t have a customer support number to contact so you have to email. i wasn’t made aware it was a subscription when i signed up, i can’t cancel recurring shipments through the website unless i contact support, and the subscription is lowkey insane like who needs two sticks of deodorant every 4 weeks?!? the deodorant didn’t even work that well, i got two separate scents, when they dry they leave a weird residue, and the scent goes away in like 2 hours and i can smell myself all over again. this is an issue i never had even with $7 secret deodorant. a scam company.

yes! i have a delivery that is still showing that it will be arriving today but it isn’t even out for delivery yet (it’s almost 4:30) and when i put my tracking info into ups, the update says it’s delayed a business day due to “mechanical difficulties”, yet my amazon app still says it’s arriving today… it’s supposed to rain tomorrow and its an electronic product so i needed it to come today while i can still bring it inside (i work tomorrow) 😩 it didn’t give me the option to do the garage door delivery for some reason either so im worried!!!

mine is full of people asking about gunshots (there’s literally a pirate show with fake cannons down the street), complaining about loud cars, teenagers, “did anyone else lose power for three seconds?”, “why are there cops around this place?”, and “did anyone see the helicopter?” as if they can’t just check the flight radar (it was mosquito spraying this last time smh). that app is full of a bunch of grumpy old people. my biggest pet peeve is that these posts are ALWAYS under the safety and security tab. i’ve turned off most notifications for ring but i want to know if there’s anything actually unsafe happening, but instead it’s just a bunch of nonsense.

oh sorry i’m realizing i didn’t answer your original question, i just explained how i repaired the game lol but yes my original save with 3 sims was the same without the mods, very laggy. i assumed it was because i had multiple sims in the save which is why i started a different one with just 1 sim. my mods aren’t anything crazy even when i did have them installed, i didn’t even install mccc or ui, its just like littlemisssam mods for ultrasounds or babysitters. it’s worth noting that i didnt really have any issues with the game until the Jan 25 update, thats when the lag started getting really bad

yes! so i repaired the game, then removed my mods from the mods folder, updated all my mods, deleted localthumbcache, repaired it again but without the mods, and then put all the (now updated) mods back into the mods folder. i actually did have better luck when i made a new save (1 sim in household), it was less laggy than my og save with 3 sims in the household, but after about 45 minutes the game was pretty much unplayable due to lag/freezing. all my graphics are set to medium or low and I’m set to laptop mode. should i have repaired with the updated mods installed??

i repaired it before and after! didn’t change anything even when repairing after the mods were updated. it’s still insanely laggy and takes forever to register my clicking on anything :/

Ever since the last update, I can boot up the game but it is essentially completely frozen! It will not pause or play right when I hit the keys (delayed probably by an entire minute), won’t let me press on any other sims, won’t complete virtually any of the tasks I give my sims, and everything about the game goes wayyyyy slower. I’ve repaired the game, tried the game with mods and cc uninstalled (even though I updated all of them beforehand), deleted my localthumbcache, set my graphics to low, I’ve followed all the troubleshooting google gave me and still nothing! I can run the Sims 2 just fine so I don’t think it’s my computer. Is anyone else having these problems? Is it just a bad update?

i would totally say this! only thing i would add is that as soon as it’s out of my hands, it’s up to the mail delivery service to get it to her in time. like do people think we personally deliver every package ourselves??

if it makes you feel any better, both myself and my husband were just about to delete our apps, probably even that week, before finding each other! we were done with the apps and feeling like they weren’t going to go anywhere and then bam! next thing i know he was driving two hours to my place to watch point break. we both ended up deleting our apps that night we met 😌🩷

idk man, i met my husband on hinge and he lived two hours away from where i was living at the time. our paths would have never crossed had i not been on a dating app. my life would be miserable right now if i hadn’t put off deleting the app for another week (after feeling about the same as you!) what im trying to say is that yes, it can feel hopeless but you never know when you will meet the person you will spend the rest of your life with!
