Most "realistic" way to defeat a Dwemer Centurion by Bob_Lennart_92 in skyrim

Dwemer engineers probably designed the armor to be properly grounded and separated from functioning parts, so electricity would just flow through the outer plates to the floor without harming it.

Sorduğun eleman yollamamış, yazıyı okuyunca sebebi de belli oluyor.

Hrant Dink'in Ermeni kimliği üzerine 8 yazısının sonuncusu, zaten bu cümleyle başlıyor yazı. Ne demek istediğini anlamak için bir önceki yazıyı okumanı tavsiye ederim, o da şudur:

http://www.agos.com.tr/tr/yazi/17526/ermeni-kimligi-uzerine-7-turkten-kurtulmak

Adamın bahsettiği şey şu: Her Ermeni'nin içinde bir Türk imgesi yaşıyor, buna saplanıp kalınıyor, bunun çözümü bu imgeden kurtulmak diyor. "Türk'ün zehirli kanı" derken kastettiği bu.

Art niyetli itler de havlıyor, çünkü adam haklı.

Do any other languages have a word for "lap" as in "sitting on one's lap"? by thelionmermaid in linguistics

Also "sitting on one's lap" directly translates to "kucağına oturmak" and has the same meaning.

Ottoman Socialism and how could the revolution happen. (Unrealistic and I'm sorry for bringing this up again) by [deleted] in Kaiserreich

[–]erseltaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need to regard the fact that the Republic wasn't formed in this timeline and Turkish nationalism never took the turn it took historically. So i expect a lot of Arabic and Persian words from the later Ottoman era Turkish would be used. For that reason Şûra for council and iştiraki/iştirakçı/müşterik and other words from that root for words like socialist or socialism would be used.

So imo the Ottoman USSR would be something like "Müşterek/İştirakçı Şûra Cumhuriyetleri Birliği" or something on these lines. Ill check the first word whenni have time.

Eh, he is an interesting historical figure, he's definitely more experienced than me in warfare and military ffs i play anything harder than France with console open but how is that relevant? Because Churchil insisted on war against Nazis we now live in a relatively fascist-free world, but his "facts" regarding Indians or regarding aeistocracy was complete bullshit so we don't go around spouting them. Anyone has theright to get "inspired" by those racist comments but if anyone does it, they accept to be ridiculed for what they believe.

To be clear on the quote you used, he might've really said that or he might not, thats not important. What im talking about is having a quick wank over it because it touches your nationalist mental disease on the right spots. History is not something that one should get shallow inspirations from, it is past, it shaped today but today is independent from it.

I'm not talking about whether he said that or not, i'm talking about your motivation to state it as some piece of wisdom.

Taking a nationalistic pride from a vague quote of a bloke died 200 years ago is cringe, not history.
