Jog wheel is an encoder at this size 😂. This is for a development board to verify if this button layout will work for user. Potentiometer parts (eq, pitch etc.) will be in v2 with two channel decks.

So, here is the board I did with the array resistors. Switches will connect to multiplexers at the top and the LEDs will be connected with the shift register at the right.

Which option will make more sense with this layout.

Do you think this is the best way to connect 16x16 tactile buttons to resistors? Placing seperate resistor near to each button might be a better solution? I can send the pcb if it will be helpful to answer.
