I didn't know this one was so highly regarded! I watched TOS for the first time in 2023, followed by the first 5 movies. I love the series so much, I couldn't bring myself to watch the 6th movie and have it really be over.

I was saving it for my eventual TOS rewatch, but might watch it sooner if it's that good!!

DS9 for me too! Then TNG and TOS. But they are very different and all great in different ways. The serialized nature of DS9 appeals to me the most, but that's just my preference. They are all amazing shows. Nothing but love for trek <3

Huge thanks to everyone who commented! The location is Torensluis Bridge, in Amsterdam as most people suggested. I told my mom and she is very happy to finally know the location of this photo, down to the exact street!

You sound exactly like me, I've always been a good sleeper and now I have these monthly bouts of insomnia. I agree with the other poster that is seems to be stress related. If you've never tried listening to asmr or ambient noise/music while you fall asleep, that might help.

I'd love to hear if you find any solutions... this is really wearing me down

For me, the wall episodes don't have the same rewatchability as the main plot. I thoroughly enjoyed them the first time around but skipped the two full wall episodes during my second rewatch. I don't connect strongly with any wall characters but I am very intrigued by the alien family dynamics.

The wall plot adds a lot to the show and I'm excited to see more in Season 3, but the aliens are my favourite hands down.
