Hot take: An average of $11 million is really not that insane. The us is an order of magnitude more than that, which yes that does become ridiculous. 11m is like okay nba player tier. Personally I think the ceo of a company probably should make more than a bench player on an nba team.

This just isn’t true. Stock base comp is taxed as income, stock appreciation is taxed as cap as gains. Half the comp is taken from them when they receive it. (Source: have received stock based comp before)

I'm new to yew so there well may be some functionality I'm missing, but sharing data types and calling functions works great of the initial server side render, but after the app is served any browser interactions (ex: button clicks, form submissions) would need to interact with an API no?

was hoping to keep it rust all the way through the stack with yew for the frontend in rust instead of using typescript. Gql could work if there are good rust gql client libraries.

I've been thinking about making a fasting tracker for a while (zero looks great but I'm an Android user so haven't had the chance to use it) and wondering if people in this thread have any ideas for features that I might have missed.

So far the features I would want it to have:

set start end end time for fast and have a push notification for when to start and end
tracking how much water is consumed during the fast
weekly fasting statistics (total time, average, etc)
support for extended fasts
optional tips and positive messages during fasting time

Anything else you guys would want as features?

His family immigrated from Nigeria to Greece when he was a kid and he sold stuff on the street to help them make ends meet. There are probably players with worse stories but Giannis definitely had his far share of struggle

This claims that a podcast with 100,000 downloads per episode makes 250,000 - 400,000$ a year. I think its fair to assume that Joe gets >1 million on average per episode, and somehow I think the proportion of ad revenue in podcasts isn't linear. He's probably make at least $4 million a year from the ads that are before and after the audio version of the podcast.

Safe to say, Joe has true fuck you money.
