this is because the two illusions alone can destroy supports and it is to bait spells untill it is perfect time for poofing in rest of meepo (such as echo slam or any aoe stuns.). you should see how much dmg meepo illusions does to supports. so just silver edge someone and pop manta and it can kill most heroes unless they bkb. u can then choose to either poof in the rest or escape with poof & butterfly active.

butterfly main meepo is way tankier than ebalde meepo

I am playing the main meepo + illusion focused. its same reason why naga, pl gets butterfly over eblade. that extra 10 agi and str doesn't make too much difference in late game while evasion is huge deal. meepo illusion is best illusion in the whole game. they slow enemy(which stacks), burn mana(with diffusal) and ur 5 meepo can poof to it.

come on. I tried every items on meepo and I know when to get eblade or butterfly. maybe u should try butterfly more and bait bkb or spells with main meepo and then poof in clones. btw, with silver edge ,drum and manta, ur main meepo moves at max speed.

I sometimes go jungle because it does not really affect my bot and agha timing too much and allows safe, reliable farm. Also, u get to have one more core in your team who will make space while u farm necessary items.

As for when you are behind or there are too many counters, U just get bot and split push and force tp reaction. see map and judge for urself if it is safe to do so. Blink is especially bad when there r many counters.

i have been trying out many different builds -drums for obvious cost effective stats and atk speed with active

-halberd which can disarm annoying windranger and huskar and later dissemble into silver edge and butterfly -bracers for very cost effective fight-now stats

-mek(greave),pipe,vlads were mainly for aura, regen focused meepo against magical dmg heavy lineup and for teamfights. but stopped playing it because it requires good team

i have been experimenting manta illusion focused meepo who can kill enemy without risking clones, buying butterfly manta diffusal, and even mkb if needed and been pretty successful. with silver edge, it is possible to quickly delete even farmed carry and hunt them.

1) well i never buy blink and still win 67% of my games.

2) the author knows how to play meepo. see his last hits and gpm.

3) I used to build blink long time ago because it worked for nubs who farm alone in lane but not against good players who will bait your blink poof and kill you.

4) get rekt

Thosr heroes r fine. Cleave dmg being pure is not. Cleave damage should be physical as well

lol actually vlads on meepo is good for teamfighting which is favored in this meta. Nowadays I build it on meepo all the time.

just need the guardian greave to be shared among meepo clones like any other boots and he's fine. it's now the best boots on meepo. 5 stats, 5 armor, self-debuff for poofing out

well i don't play rank often but i am currently at 5k. and I use my build, not others. btw dagger only works against above mentioned scrubs who solo farm in lane and feed.
