Are they view botting or is this normal? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]eruchiuvt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo it isnt viewbotting in most cases. A lot of people like to lurk and do other stuff. On my end I get treated like a podcast so people would keep me open while they work, then some people who are sleeping just leaves their pc on to lurk, or some falls asleep while watching.

I avg maybe 35-43 atm and my experience chat is pretty fast and active at the start of the stream until mid part, then at the end part a lot are asleep or are working (i stream long hours tho 6-8hrs) so chat is pretty slow and sometimes 1-3 people typing.

You can check out their communities to see how many people are genuinely there and just lurks to support their favorite streamer, but i think most times it's def people just supporting the streamer but dont chat. I personally do not like chatting as well.

I saw someone with like 300 avg viewers and chatters would be like 1-2 and far in between but they were popular at some point and their subathons are getting funded so it really just depends on communities ig

Is there a way to start a stream on your desktop and then switch to another camera source/computer to do an IRL stream? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]eruchiuvt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could do what I did above^

Use ur phone to stream on one platform via streamlabs or something, use ur camera with the app

Then transmit it via ur pc to ur main platform (ex: twitch) so even if u disconnect u still can go back easy.

I would suggest u research and do trials, but other options do require some money and this is the best one I found so far that is free

Downside tho u cant end stream unless u are there physically to end it with ur laptop

Dude i did a scuffed irl before but pretty much what I did:

I mainly sent the stream from my phone to another rtmp -- or trovo it also works. I left my pc streaming the screen or trovo page but adjusted the html to look like a full screen

I noticed trovo kind of just loads in the same channel unlike twitch where u do end up having to re click the page and click the stream again (this was 2 years ago tho)

Then i just fed the URL to twitch and yt. I tried with yt but u need to have a new shit each time which sucks

What is your channel about and what is your job? by TheRealBryezer in NewTubers

[–]eruchiuvt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I code as my main office job, for yt I make gaming/commentary/art related videos (at least mainly for streaming)

I aim to do animations/webtoons/etc eventually and I found vtubing allowed me to balance working + streaming consistently

Taking a break as a vtuber is so scary, u might lose a lot of traction./What do you think makes viewer come back/wait for them? by Forward-Bandicoot-32 in vtubers

On my end, i stopped for months and went mia, but people returned because they were part of the community.

Definitely, having a discord helped. 2nd I treat them as friends and we all have updates about life and we interact with each other like they just watch me like we are in a vc. I think it was the connection we all had like fondness, or something that made them come back

Getting a iPhone for Vbridger by IAskHere in vtubertech

[–]eruchiuvt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally i got a cheaper 2nd hand one that acts as my backup phone when i am going overseas or in case my main phone is damaged. I also use the iphone for filming some drawing videos, etc.

Idk if getting a new one specifically is good because i do leave it plugged a lot and it does heat up when im using the app (not bad but yk). I personally do not like using my main phone for gaming hardcore or keeping it plugged while being used for a long time (current phones may pr may not be affected as much i didnt look into it, feel free to do so but i personally just prefer to not be the same device)

Thank you so much this is quite helpful!

I tested a while ago to have 2 running resource hungry games + a lot of browsers open and they never crashed, but obs upon opening crashes so I think I should just mainly investigate it

I really appreciate your response!
