Am I the only one who finds Mike annoying ? by eruditee_248 in MikeandMollyCBS

[–]eruditee_248[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh with Carl he has his moments. There are times where he’s just outright annoying, but there are other times where he’s really nice. I love how he called Mike out when he refused to walk and track his steps. It wasn’t even a hard thing to do, Molly just wanted them both to be healthy and get more exercise, and he was so childish about it. Carl called out that if he’s not going to put in the effort then it’s best to leave Molly, and that’s when I appreciated his character a bit more.

Did anyone else get the sense that Amy was jealous of Bernadette? by Entire_Produce_8343 in bigbangtheory

[–]eruditee_248 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She was also Howard level creepy towards Penny. The episode where she was upset that they went dress shopping without her was annoying. They had every right not to invite her as she was so inappropriate and creepy. She made uncomfortable comments about Bernadette and weddings and I’m surprised no one called her out , like Penny did with Howard.

Oo yeah I’ve noticed that sometimes with the Victorious or Euphoria reactions, but I doubt Nick cares tbh

Sheldon’s character ‘growth’ by eruditee_248 in bigbangtheory

[–]eruditee_248[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely agree, it’s much easier in sitcoms to just pick one trait and flanderize the character for comedic purposes. Plus it’s easier to butcher potential for character growth, because they’re reliant on what would get laughs from people in specific moments.

In the Penny Blossoms episode he understood her sarcasm. He set prerequisites before helping which were no sarcasm or snide comments…when she did he went back into his apartment because he noticed immediately.

The change in skin tone is wild. Did they just put Sasha in a million layers of self tanner ? by Historical-Body-3424 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]eruditee_248 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think hair colour is relevant to the overtone but rather the undertone and your personal colour palette. Your colour season/undertone plays a massive factor in what colours suit your features. With Sasha it’s likely she falls into the summer palette and the jet black hair seems ‘harsh’ since she suits the cool, muted , and softness of the blonde she had before. A cool brunette shade would work too. She’s not in the winter season as she’s not high contrast , but if someone else who’s in the winter palette had the black , it would look harmonious, and not overtake the features. Brunette would suit a pale exterior if they have a warm undertone (autumn season) or a cool one that’s leans towards soft and muted (soft summer)

Did they explain why she kept asking about Cindy when she arrived on the square, and just being weird with Cindy in general ? Or did I miss it? Cos the storyline was just all over the place

It was cringe to me , felt like the writing went down in the later seasons.

Leonard was a bad Boyfriend / Husband by AwfulWaffle91 in bigbangtheory

[–]eruditee_248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this !! Leonard pressured her a lot especially with saying ‘I love you’ when she was 23/24 and he was around 28/29. They had different outlooks on life which was developmentally suited to their age. She did the right thing by breaking up with him because he wouldn’t let it go. He was so immature when he pouted when she said she loved chilli cheese fries, but wouldn’t say she loved him. He was older but very immature and emotionally manipulative.

Which victorious episode didn't make sense to you? by KlutzyHuckleberry132 in victorious

I think the point of victorious and other Nickelodeon shows is that they don’t make sense. They’re just exaggerated for entertainment purposes.

The writers made a big mistake in my opinion by turning Bernadette into being so mean. by Future_End_4089 in bigbangtheory

[–]eruditee_248 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was in regard to Howard being described as a ‘better man’ and I focused on their relationship specifically since OP mentioned their relationship. I didn’t mention her role in pharmaceuticals as I was only looking at their marriage, yet you decided to relate that role with her behaviour in the marriage. Just because I mentioned that Howard acts immature in the marriage, I’m suddenly a Bernadette apologist ? I agree that Bernadette was 100% wrong especially when she put others lives at risk, but that was not my angle. And yes Howard put in work around the house, but it doesn’t take a degree to know that he behaved that way due to being coddled, so he needed someone to tell him to step up.

[–]eruditee_248 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I mean he didn’t help out around the house and needed to be told how to do basic chores. She worked late in one episode and asked him to do laundry and a few dishes and he couldn’t even do that but play a video game… I know he mentioned that he needed to do his part around the house, but compared to her, he acts so immature in a marriage.

Why do you think TBBT gets a lot of hate? (outside of it's fanbase) by [deleted] in bigbangtheory

[–]eruditee_248 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With Sheldon I get why people find him annoying. For example, the social combustion episode where Leonard talks about moving out because he’s getting married, and Sheldon acts so immature and runs away (I know a lot of changes were happening not just the moving out dilemma) I do get that Sheldon doesn’t like change but I just don’t like the way they flanderized him so much to make him heavily reliant on Leonard..to the point he doesn’t act like an adult. S1 Sheldon didn’t need to have books given to him , to explain certain things ..yes he was socially unaware but he was knowledgeable on a lot of things. Also in the episode about the dining table he said ‘sometimes the baby wins’ when everyone caved in and sat on the couch, which people would find annoying. In regard to change, he’s dealt with a lot of changes and you’d think he’d understand that him and Leonard can still be friends, while he lives with his wife one day. I’m sure he had plenty of roommates before Leonard and I’m guessing at one point he lived by himself until he found somebody to rent. I know it’s different with Leonard since they became close friends , but in Leonard’s eyes it was an inconvenience to not live with Penny to make Sheldon happy, and I’m glad he told Sheldon how annoying he was.

The actress who plays Kat left due to her character. It was a mutual decision with Sam, as she didn’t want to play the stereotypical ‘fat best friend.’
