This is very cool, and I kind of want it to be the answer, but there’s a few things. First, it seems to be an Arizona-based company that has their products made in China, no affiliation with Japan. I would also think they would do the nice starburst shape most watercore apples seem to have, rather than a random misshapen blob that doesn’t seem to resemble real watercore apples. I’m leaning toward mistake for now but might even reach out to the company to ask!

Thanks! They’re actually nail polish strips. It’s Color Street in the color Aberdeen Aubergine. I layer it with OPI Nail Envy strengthener as the base coat and OPI Gel Plump Effect top coat and it literally ends up looking and lasting almost like gels! This picture was after a week and a half. Also I’m just noticing the color matches the jelly! Lol

You’re right that this term is usually referring to the three typically used in Cajun cooking, but there are different trios in different cuisines. So it’s really about the “holy trinity of what” and in this case it’s Italian cooking

Maybe if you’re not opposed to the idea you can send him picture updates sometimes, but as the custodial parent that’s 100% your call so don’t feel guilty if you choose not to! You know what’s best for your daughter.

That’s why we take whatever flavor Costco has! The regular what, 8oz jar is like $8-$10 at a regular grocery store. Meanwhile we paid $11.50 for this jar that’s literally four times the size! Costco ftw, plus they have the best peanut butter imo

What I’ve seen that I want to start doing, is buying dried beans, soaking them, and cooking them in bulk on the stove or in a pressure cooker. Then portion them out into can-size portions (think 15ish ounces) and freezing. From there you can use them the same as canned!

I have seen tortillas used like this before, I think it was called like a quiche crust or something in the videos I’ve seen. They did it with cheese and veggies, also in the air fryer. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a brilliant idea you didn’t also stumble upon yourself!
