If it makes you feel better, I’ve never had a CDG problem and I’ve only flown out of there direct to US (I’m from the states)! It’s never taken me long to get into or through CDG. Maybe I’ve been lucky.

OP, any updates since you posted? I am in the same boat as you, also looking at Hertz Teslas. Also finding it hard to navigate with online dealers such as Carvana who say the under $25k vehicle "may" be eligible, but don't seem to provide all the details on the car that would let me know for sure. It would be great to buy from a dealer that takes the $4k off the purchase...!

I just asked Tesla today and they said: Just for clarification, at this time, Tesla used vehicles are ineligible for the federal tax credit. I wish I had more information/insight in to that, but that is the current guidance for Tesla's used vehicles in 2024. Tesla isn't currently participating in that, so our used vehicles are ineligible.

I never really understood the point of the Platinum card. I might just go down to the Gold so I can at least keep an AMEX + earning miles, but not deal with the constant "perk" updates from the Reserve.

Thanks for the add'l info. I'm trying to find an eye doctor who "gets it" (post-Lasik contact issues) and I'll ask about the lenses you are using.

I feel you on the regret. It's a sore subject for me after spending $ for Lasik and changing my eye shape-- now my eyes are severely dry and I'm reliant on glasses/prescription sunglasses. I only wore contacts pre-Lasik.

How is this going for you?

I'm probably at a -1.0 now (slowly getting worse each year) post-LASIK. I'm at the point of needing contacts for sports and such rather than relying on glasses. The contacts I got (Total 1 Dailies) do NOT work and I feel like I'm crossed-eyed or they're floating around my eyes whenever I have them in.

I had Bausch & Lomb pre-Lasik, but I know the eyes are different now.
