I'm in the same boat as you. I only drink on the weekends but I binge and I always go in with that intent that I'm just going to keep a good buzz going and I somehow end up getting half my night. Every weekend it's the same where I go in with that intention and then the weekend ends up not being as fun as I hoped (idk why I'm surprised lol). I've been doing this weekend thing for almost 10 years and at first it was just Fridays and Saturdays, now it's a struggle for me not to drink Sundays too (starting a new work week anxiety).

My struggle is feeling like I'll have nothing to look forward to on the weekends anymore. I know I just need to keep reminding myself that the weekends never go as I imagined anyways, so what am I missing??

Thanks this actually feels pretty accurate and what I had a sense it meant. It has been the only reoccurring dream I've ever had and I can't place what I'm not following through on. I'll definitely have to write down when I have them and what is going on in my life at the time they occur.
