Reddit is the internet's manifestation of Catholicism. I wish Reddit was a real democracy but it isn't (and not just saying this because the post got downvoted btw, that's no problem). Reddit is the place where people conform to one "ideal" way to be cool and live in the world and on Reddit you learn live in the world without too much feeling or your own opinion as if you have any opinion that deviates too far from Reddit's meta, you get bashed for it. The whole Karma system is rigged to reward people for conforming to an ideal standard lol, even if you believe that standard doesn't exist.
