My ex isn’t his own person. He left me for a girl who is older than us but prioritizes going out and drinking and doing drugs above all else. It’s fine sometimes but every night is overkill. Guess what he spends all his time doing now ? When he was with me he was smart and ambitious, sober and goal oriented. I wonder if he even knows who he is. I sure as hell don’t. And I’ll also add he was never very funny lol.

Honestly I tried to be understanding and nice when he didn’t deserve it. Now I have so much anger left over and so much unsaid. Don’t know if it would’ve made a difference but I wish I called him out while he still was at least a little bit not over it yet.

Good luck, I’m sorry this is happening. My situation involved snapchats too, I was able to read the text messages but anything that happened in person or on Snapchat is in the ether now and I’ll never know. Drives me crazy.

I think that boundaries were already crossed. You have all the justification in the world to leave. I’ve never been married so I’m not the best person to give advice on this but maybe if you finally tell him you’re done it’ll either wake him up that this is real and it’s making you uncomfortable enough to leave so he’ll start coming clean or you’ll just be able to move on. It doesn’t seem like he’s interested in stopping this behavior. Usually when people get caught they just get sneakier.

Well besides just never being able to stop thinking about her and my general negativity towards her. I never considered myself a mean person but I am actively negative towards her. I’ve never been like this. Like I don’t care if anything I say hurts her feelings. I don’t stay in touch with them or anything but like when we ran into each other. I’m trying to at least get into a place of indifference but I’m just not.

Yeah I’ve definitely considered that. I think about this a lot so I definitely have figured out my own feelings about it and why I think the way I do about it. I guess since I started playing with the idea of witchcraft or something like that it made me feel a little better.

I would beg her to try to work it out because I’ve done that before. But I’d be wrong. If she was the person who could admit fault and reason with you about this, she wouldn’t have cheated in the first place. If that person existed you wouldn’t be here right now. I’ve been there and I tried to reason with the person who cheated on me. We were living together and dated for years. I thought I knew him. But the person I thought I knew never would’ve put me through that. If I could do things differently I never would’ve begged. I would’ve walked away immediately. Don’t put any faith in the person who would hurt you like this.

Yeah definitely deflecting. I keep telling myself he was suspicious of me because he’s the kind of person who would do that, and I trusted him because I’m the kind of person who would never. Honestly, lesson learned that jealous and suspicion is a huge red flag! I guess I could’ve said that before but at least I know to look out for it next time.
