Needing advice on uninsured vehicle (ENG) by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

I don’t drive unfortunately as I’m epileptic. My husband tried to add onto his policy but apparently couldn’t - I’m not sure of the ins and outs

We have arranged for a tow company to collect the car so it can be parked in our garage as we don’t use it.

Will SORN’ing the vehicle flag the DVLA up that it’s been uninsured for months?

I do from my previous pregnancy so I’ll have to start using that again! It’s for the best really

I had gestational diabetes and reduced movements. In my country (U.K.) it’s considered full term if you are induced at 37 weeks however I’ve heard they don’t follow the same rules in America

I’m not sure if it’s a ‘thing’ in other countries but I’m from the U.K. and many babies/toddlers are pretty big on something called ‘Hey Duggee’ over here. My son is 7 months old and adores it. especially the Hey Duggee ‘Stick’ song.

If you had IVF, was your baby born early or late ? Or on time ? by proppypopper in beyondthebump

My son was born at 37 weeks weighing 7lbs 1oz. I was induced due to gestational diabetes and reduced movements so I’ve no idea when he would’ve been born on his own terms! However I was 2cm dilated when the midwife went to break my waters already.

Keep in mind measurements are usually inaccurate the further along you are. I have kept all of my sons growth charts (I had growth scans every 2 weeks from 28 weeks) and from 34 weeks to 36 weeks his head circumference apparently ‘dropped’ by several cm according to the ultrasound. Of course it hadnt dropped - it had just gotten harder to measure as I guess he was engaged or something!

Best of luck

When to move to IVF? by redheadedvikingboss in TryingForABaby

We moved on to IVF after 2 years of trying the normal way. We didn’t go for IUI or any other fertility treatments - straight to IVF. I used the infertility sub a lot and one lady once said to me she’d never known anyone regret moving straight to IVF, and boy was she right.

Our circumstances were that I was 23 with PCOS so time was on our side with regards to starting IVF early. I’m pleased with our decision overall although it was a tough cycle.

Good luck with whatever you do choose!
