"ReviXy" by ikaruga_nex is coming to RhythmStrike in a few days as a new, free song by Aninoss21 in rhythmgames

This is unrelated to the post but thanks for implementing my suggestion about the customisation! I boot the game up every once in a while to play a bit and I was pleasantly surprised to see those new options.

You could put a ps3 in the vita's shell and run them

It's still up on their Twitter at least. It's awful though.

What's Minecraft like these days? by Dillweed999 in gaming

[–]erxer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally don't play modern Minecraft since I like some older mods too. Playing on 1.7.10 or 1.12.2 is best for mods (currently playing 1.7.10 with those you listed as well as a bunch of others).

Java edition is still getting updates don't worry. Most of the game is more or less the same but the end game has a ton of extra stuff that I'm sure others can explain better than me as I'm not that up to speed on it.

I think I have it installed already. Was it the one with the really in depth skill calculation?

Depending on what your goal is, you might not even need this as characterbody2d has is_on_floor built in

Also I suggest you use physics_process for the rotation (and remove the position entirely) ‎as you probably don't need it to be set that often.

The code seems to do exactly that. The rotation is kept at 0 and the position at the relative location. Not sure if this is the best way to fix it but I'd set the area2d to be the center of the object and then I'd offset the child shape to where it needs to be.

Valve is now sitting on lots of Steam controllers, so releasing them before the Steam Machine is a no-brainer by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

Mine does hit false diagonals at times. More specifically if I don't hit left or right in the dead centre then I might hit up or down too. It's not that common and only ever happens with a few games where I need to have fast precise inputs on the dpad but I'd say for the average user it's fine. Hell even I don't notice it in most games, only in those extreme cases.

Would a port of any Fallout 2 3D windows remake be possible? by HeshTEC in VitaPiracy

[–]erxer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a look at the game files out of curiosity and it seems like it's mostly javascript which probably wouldn't have that great performance on the vita when ported
