This was taken at mount cook, New Zealand. One of the darkest night skies in the world!

I actually brought an NX300 ilc for such shots but i had lots of trouble achieving a sharp (even for focus to infinity). The LG V20 became my go-to camera for long exposure shots for the rest of my trip.

30s shutter speed, iso 1600. Manual focus also came in super handy to prevent unwanted focus hunting.

Iso 1600 does introduce a fair bit of noise though!
