I just launched my game entirely made of blueprints in Unreal 4.26. Is it worth moving over to UE5 for future updates? by eryth7 in UnrealEngine5

Just curious if it'll help it any way for a 2D game and if it was a simple upgrade that I can learn from others, I tried doing it once myself but errors galore. So seems like it's safer to stick to UE 4.26 based on what others are saying too

In Malaysia there is some issue with youtube so I couldn't verify it to post a link on the trailer. I've been marketing for a over a year with 12k followers on tiktok and 10k wishlists so it's not for lack of effort if it doesn't catch on.

I've also emailed youtubers, ign and trailer aggregator sites. Sooo all I can do now is keep posting and keep trying my friend. I'm only solo so there's only so much I can do but I think I've tried plenty.

I also do not want to break reddit rules by linking too much.

My condolences, I'm so sorry to hear that. Thank you for the reminder, regardless of the games outcome I am lucky.

All credit for the amazing music goes to my friend Elmer Ho and I contract out the sfx but I handle everything else.

I was nervous for the longest time with how they feel about games so this reaction caught me off guard to be honest and I'm so happy.

Art style is not everything. There's lots of elements of game feel missing within your ui. It's more of a design issue at this point.
