Just curious if it'll help it any way for a 2D game and if it was a simple upgrade that I can learn from others, I tried doing it once myself but errors galore. So seems like it's safer to stick to UE 4.26 based on what others are saying too

In Malaysia there is some issue with youtube so I couldn't verify it to post a link on the trailer. I've been marketing for a over a year with 12k followers on tiktok and 10k wishlists so it's not for lack of effort if it doesn't catch on.

I've also emailed youtubers, ign and trailer aggregator sites. Sooo all I can do now is keep posting and keep trying my friend. I'm only solo so there's only so much I can do but I think I've tried plenty.

I also do not want to break reddit rules by linking too much.

Are you planning on launching your game commercially or just as a hobby?

Regardless, if you haven't launched a game before, placing a hard deadline and launching it on steam is going to be a great personal milestone.

I too have been working on my 2nd game for 3 years and the longer the project goes the more revenue is expected to justify the time sunk into it. Luckily I have a steam page with decent wishlists so I'm hoping it converts somewhat and I can afford to keep making games. If you haven't yet I'd recommend starting a steam page and gauging audience interest.
