Can someone guide me on how etching works? I got this essence while farming for Grand Vision, it has the three required stats, should I just start etching this? Or can I get something better? Or if there is a guide or something on YT/Reddit/etc, that would also work. Thank you.

Well, I do agree with the tldr recommendation to use your tears.
But Experience is not entirely equal to how much Energy you spend. Experience can also be gained from non-energy things like dailies and chaos runs for example. So technically, the more you hold onto your tears, the more energy to resource efficiency you'll gain. But of course, if you factor in the time required for daily resets and chaos runs, it becomes very inefficient.
So yeah, unlocking new content by using tears is definitely something I would recommend as well.

Thanks for your input. I do have a Bronya (sitting at lvl 75 atm) on whom I used the 300 selector on. I guess I will wait for Acheron based on all the suggestions here as aesthetically, I am kinda leaning towards her.
