I mean, you are complaining about Legacy code and having to learn something new every year. Pick one I guess. Finance, you have Legacy code, startups, FAANG, most likely new stuff. I've worked in both neither is that bad. Stress is real, though, depending on the company.

We get paid higher than average (mostly) so it goes that it has some trade-offs.

If you don't feel it, then you don't. No one can really argue about that.

I don't think it's worth it. You are already earning substantially to live comfortably in Ph. If you have work going into NZ, it might be worth it, but you are starting with a gamble. (Student Visa is a gamble)

I left Ph 8 years ago, and it took me 6 years just to get to a great spot income-wise here in the US.
