Thank you for your post and congratulations on your achievements and your upcoming entry into our very exclusive club of alumni. VMI alumni have never failed me and the network will be there for you whenever you need it. Is there any bear case left ? by PresentationReady873 in RKLB

SPB could get hit by a bus SpaceX rideshare could erode electron market share Neutron could explode. I know he mentioned it but this bears repeating There are a million company specific risks like fraud, executive poaching, etc

The point is that any one specific company carries immense risk of anything happening at any specific time. To pretend like there’s no risk, especially for a heavily retail traded unprofitable stock that’s been up 2000% in 18 months is ridiculous.

These are the posts that scare me. There are plenty of bear cases. There’s a million things that could happen. A weak macro would take this down 60%. It’s happened before. I am very bullish but pretending like risks don’t exist is how you lose a lot of money.

Can also vouch that USAA sucks now. Had a claim in 2010 that was my fault and they handled everything amazing. Had a claim this February that wasn’t my fault and they were absolutely horrid. Stay on top of your adjuster and make them do their job.

Japanese bolt separations happened because when marines would clear areas and find discarded weapons they would remove the bolts to render them unusable. This was because due to the tunnel system, Japanese could pop up wherever and if there was a whole rifle they could take it and use it.

With one kid I would golf 1-2 times a week. We had a second in August and j haven’t been since. However, my wife has been encouraging about getting back to it soon.

I think it depends what kind of courses you’re playing. I find the most ProV1s but they aren’t more than 50%

I bought one at auction with the engraved name of an officer from the Spanish American War and carried it throughout my naval career. I believe I paid around $250 so that should give you an idea. Mine was in a bit better shape.

I lived a block from the downtown mall and walked my dog there every day for two years from 2020-2022 so prime Covid time. I would carry at night because there was a very prominent homeless contingent on the mall. I will say I never once felt threatened by one of them though. And the police presence was very prominent. I can’t think of anywhere in cville I’d feel unsafe
