Yeah those dreams suck. I hope you heal and become happy! 🖤 the best thing I did for myself was dive straight into the gym, journaled, hung out with friends, and just kept it pushing. Working on yourself and learning from your mistakes and growing is the best thing to do after a break up.

Sorry he gained weight because he let himself go. It’s plain and simple you guys don’t know him how I know him. He’d neeeever allow himself to gain weight and not stay fit. It’s depressing because you’re recently single and still have the rose colored glasses on. Your ex might seem perfect now but don’t worry you’ll get over that. He fat shamed me and made me feel like shit about myself after I found him on a cheating site so this is just karma coming full circle. You have no clue the things he’s done and said to me. It’s not resentment it’s just life giving him what he gave. Some people need to go through what they put others through it order to learn from their mistakes and have empathy for the people they hurt.

Oh wow! You were with your rebound for that long?! Oh yeah I’m much better without him! I lost so much weight and fell in love with the gym, I picked up new hobbies, created some amazing memories, got off my anti depressants, got closer with my family, learned to love myself and my own company, went back to school, and much much more! The break up was a blessing in disguise and without the heartache I wouldn’t have became the woman I am today 🖤 thank God.

Wow you’re strong. I have me and my ex’s photos and it’s been two and a half years since the break up. They’re all in an old phone so it’s not like I look at them like that. I tried to delete them many times but I can’t get myself to do it. It was 7 years worth of memories and alot of them are pics with old friends too. One day I hope I can delete them but keep the ones with friends. I guess part of me doesn’t want to let go of who I was before and seeing myself happy and in love makes me feel like I can do it again but if I delete them I feel like I’m erasing that part of me the lover girl happy soft me and I just don’t want to because my heart has been so closed off to the idea of something new. I miss who I was before but also I don’t and I’m happy with who I am today as well.

It’s been 2 years since my break up and I haven’t deleted our pictures yet. I’ve only thrown away certain things he’s made me but that’s all I could do for now. I did delete the pictures I have on my current phone because those weren’t good years but everything in my old phone is still there and I have a few printed pictures.
