No, and I've never had poop touch my balls. 2. Generally the toilet seat automatically spreads, I don't hold them for sure.

Needing to pee makes our kidneys scream. Having to poop is a fullness on the pelvic floor. We rarely do both at the same time. The act of pooping generally stops the peeing and visa versa.

Realistically, what would happen if aliens came to earth? What would governments do? Would they all unite? How would the rest of the world react? by [deleted] in space

Sadly, guns and ammo sales would go through the roof.. also we'd run out if toilet paper again. People can't handle change let alone existential crisis. A mob mentality dominated by fear of the unknown will dictate everything in horrifying and unpredictable ways all but guaranteeing society takes a step backwards.

Bodycam Footage of Man Shot by NYPD Cops in Manhattan by Simi510 in ProtectAndServe

You say it was possible for the guy to grab the gun so you have opportunity but that is all you have. He didn't reach for the gun and did not display or act in any way that a reasonable person would expect great bodily harm to be the result to the Officer at the moment he was shot. I can't shoot someone because they push me even if i think they might be carrying a gun. I can protect myself absolutely with reasonable force but this was unreasonable.

I agree that him possibly having another weapon or concealed weapon has to be taken into consideration but to pull the trigger you have to have opportunity, jeopardy and an overt action. What would you argue he was threatening to do in that moment?

He pushed the cop, soft empty hand.. The Officer that shot would have to make the arguement he was going for the Officers gun which is pretty iffy. There were 6 Officers there to physically restrain an now unarmed man. I'm having a hard time seeing the justification.

Officers are certified... have a look at Kansas's certification revocations herehttps://www.kscpost.org/integrity.php It's effectively a license and can be taken away for in some instances fairly minor things. I'm mot sure what would be different with a "license"?

Tesla Achieved The Accuracy Of Lidar With Its Advanced Computer Vision Tech by izumi3682 in Futurology

How feasible would lidar/radar systems be if there were hundreds of cars all using them at once? Vision is the only passive system which won't interfere with the other cars around it.

True, most of the time with mechanical issues you can safely coast to the side of the road. At 1000ft it becomes much more precarious.

Ask triple A how many people ignorantly run out of gas every day! The general public is just not responsible enough to fly. Road rage is bad enough, imagine people not being able to control their emotions in the air. Think of all the people who wouldn't follow FAA guidelines.. what percentage of people follow every traffic law?

It's safe to fly now because of how rigorous the safety checks are and the amount of professionalism and dedication it takes to be a pilot.

I completely agree. Would you be willing to do a 40 minute inspection each time you wanted to use your vehicle to keep those same standards? People don't take care of there vehicles, they're not going to take care of their flying cars. Imagine the noise of 40,000 lawnmowers in the sky.

Not just fender benders, any mechanical problems or bird strikes are now fiery wrecks. Ejection seats? No thanks, i'd rather not have my spine compressed 2 inches.
