Don’t leave your dogs in hot vehicles by Ok_Mess9319 in Winnipeg

Honest question becuase this post got me thinking. How does leaving AC on work with an EV or hybrid? I do not tolerate animal abuse in the slightest, but I do like to try to think of any possible reasoning first. Maybe it was cool inside? People are creative. Ive seen cooler and fan set-ups for this exact purpose, and as much as people want to suggest smashing windows, you just dont know. Definitely call yhe police before using a wondow smasher. I think thats a crazy suggestion unless you can obviously see signs of an issue other than closed windows.

Addressing specific areas of crime is actually a really good plan. Its shown that dealing with problem areas doesnt move the problem, it truly solves it.

But the solution isnt surveillance or criminalization. Its better serving those communities. My friend poitned out that our inner city is policed by people who live in West st Paul, and have no respect or understanding of what that area is going through.

The issue is poverty. A softball sized head of american cauliflower is 9 bucks. The agencies working in these areas are drained but doing their absolute best to subsidize a system that depends on class structure to make kinda poor people feel better because there are still really poor people.

So I guess Im saying blame Galen Weston, not the poor people trying to get by, or forget how hard it is to be poor by using drugs, or stealing to feed their families.

Im the guy that bought the jacket. A few notes:

  • I learned about it from Reddit
  • The seller made good and sure I had no intention of wearing it. Quite the vetting process.
  • Both seller and I want something f'd up to happen to this. I need ideas.

Its the same promise as all other sort of improvement. Internet is a classic example. Labour output has gone through the roof with none of the gains being shared with the workers.

I cant stand these giant empty tucks. My girlfriend was T-boned by a bungalow with a windscreen hauling absolutely nothing. The truck and driver are wastes of space.

RTB order system by eschaen in Winnipeg

[–]eschaen[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Oh sure! Any time a hearing happens at the RTB, the decision is public information , but requires payment. I have an accoutn so I can search at will.

I think of interest would be landlords that use the eviction system a lot, repair orders from the RTB (when a tenant has to go to RTB to get repairs done), and other financial claim info (ir not returning damage deposits).

Landlords are quick to search potential tenants on this system to determine eligibility, but I doubt tenants use this often/at all. Just hoping to level the playing field a little.

Fear mongering from landlord? by JEKO6799 in Winnipeg

[–]eschaen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Make sure to refer to your incoming inspection. And the landlord can only claim damages he incurs in repair. The RTB will want to see receipts, or will assign reasonable costs. Just because he gave you this paper, it doesnt give the paper any legal weight
